nice for cardio with low resistance but still getting that full body workout. small size and can easily be stored upward! I made the right choice for my beginner needs
Easy to assemble. Very quiet. True space saver. I have used it everyday and really enjoy it more than I thought I would.
I'm a retired person and this machine fills my needs for something besides walking—a full-body workout. It is quiet, smooth, sturdy, and has many levels of resistance. The instructions were clear with great diagrams that allowed me to put it together. I can easily move this rower to stand in the corner when not in use. I have limited space but can position it for television viewing. I've been using it every day for almost two weeks and love it! Last, but not least, is the price: The cost versus quality shines. I highly recommend this machine! Thank you!
I truly enjoy my rower..it is a wonderful full body workout..at first I thought it was easy lol lol ..then I started working out with your Sunny on line instructors ...made a big difference...she pushes me thru my 20 minutes of rowing.. The rower shipped quickly & the instructions are so very easy to follow..thank you for that ..very well made & easy to move. Thank you so much ;-)
Overall I'm happy with this rowing machine. There's a good range of resistance and I was pleasantly surprised to see I maxed out at level 6 out of 13. I wish it was foldable but I do like that I can store it upright against the wall. Still saved me a lot of real estate so no biggie.
I knew a rower in this price range would not feel like the rowers at the gym, but I didn't want to make that kind of investment. I bought it to help improve my posture and reduce the nerve impingement that is happening in my shoulder area. My focus is the rear shoulder and mid back areas. I did my first row using a popular app that I use and I got through a half hour class. It was better than I expected although the air type rowers or the water ones don't need a resistance adjustment and it is going to take getting used to adjusting the resistance knob on this one. The setup wasn't the worst experience. The unit operates smoothly and the seat and handle are comfortable. I did not buy the one with the extended rail that folds up, I got a shorter rail and it stores upright, which I actually prefer since it is a smaller footprint. The display is pretty useless to me, I would prefer a stroke rate but that isn't an option. I did a screen cast onto my television in my workout room and that was great. Air pods and some great music made the time go fast (full disclosure I used the Peloton Guide to cast it only my TV, but it's the same in the end). I plan to use the equipment a couple of times a week and if I find that the quality degrades quickly I will update this review. I bought a Sunny bike several years ago and was impressed with the quality for the price. Once I discovered I was hooked I upgraded to a Peloton. The Sunny products are perfect to see how well the exercise integrates into your life. I doubt I will upgrade to the Peloton Rower though, I think the Sunny is going to serve just fine. (4 stars instead of 5 because I want to see the stroke rate)
very easy to assemble, came with all the needed tools and hardware. i love how much space it saves when not in use and you can place it upright and takes up virtually no space. Very easy to move unit around. I had read other reviews mention issues with the tension knob not working, but I figured I would try my luck. However, i do see now what they were referring to. In my case it did somewhat increase the tension (from 1-16), however it's very minimal. I tested it out from the lowest setting, gradually increasing it to the higher settings. I was waiting for it to be a lot harder to row than it was after I quickly cranked it up all the way to 16. Still for being my first rowing machine, I'll keep it for a while as I only plan on using it for cardio and endurance training. I did start breaking a sweat after going for about 15 mins and a pretty good pace.
Great beginner stationary rower. Wish it had more sophisticated data -- like strokes per minute (as opposed to total strokes, total minutes), split speed, or keeping statistical data. Seat is very comfortable, and I like the __quote__bike__quote__ shape. I am 5'8__quote__ with long arms and proportional legs -- I would not get in a full recovery if I were any taller. I used to row and am happy to have this space saving rower in my condo to get me back into the habit of rowing. But I can see already I may have to consider a more sophisticated rower when it comes time to up my game.
Rowing Pains: The Sitcom” “It's got more resistance to working than I do to leg day.” It's not broken—it's just practicing mindfulness. One breath. Zero movement.
Little to no resistance at all which means youre pushing against nothing. I felt like I was gonna push myself off the rower. The only thing stopping that is my knees. The resistance adjuster does nothing.
