Hello, I am a Wal-Mart Sparks Reviewer, and today I will be doing a review on the Sunny Bay Microwavable XL Body Heating Wrap. This is a great heating wrap. It has a nice weight. Also, it came in a navy color blue and has a soft cotton texture. It is filled with flaxseed and rice. More of a bean bag heating wrap. It provides great soothing warm heat. Just microwave for only two minutes and apply to your aching muscles. I love the warmth and how it soothes my aches. I wrapped it around my leg and ankle, and it felt so good! I can also put it on my neck or back areas. This is also great for tired muscles and sore joints. Also, you can remove the beanie flaxseed and rice bag from the fleece and wash it. What I would like to see is a more variety of other colors, and also a smaller size wrap in different colors as well. What I like best about this wrap is that it is large enough to wrap around my muscle, it provides great heat, the fleece is soft, and it's very easy to use. Overall, it is a great heating wrap and I love it!

I will start and say this is an excellent product. The Sunny Bay Extra Large Body Wrap is reusable for both hot or cold therapy. It comes with a machine washable fleece cover that is very soft. The wrap itself is a nice four pounds and measures about an inch thick, 22 inches long and 10 inches wide. The filling does not shift excessively to one end or the other and stays nicely uniform. I have used this on my upper back, lower back . around an elbow and a knee. For cold therapy you fold the wrap then put it in a plastic bag. Then place the plastic bag with the wrap inside in the freezer for an hour. I remove the wrap from the bag and put it on the area I desire. Extremely relaxing and very soothing. The cold lasted around a half hour. The weight of the wrap is nice and no extra weight is needed. For hot therapy you put it in a microwave and nuke it ( non- edible). The instructions come with a chart for your product weight and your microwave size and wattage, that will give you your microwaving time. If you want it hotter you can heat in increments of 10 seconds. Also less time if re-heating. A few warnings in the instructions for safety, hot and cold spots and flipping the wrap. I found the hot therapy extremely relaxing and very soothing. The heat lasted around a half hour as well. With the right care I do not see why this product would not last for years.

The Sunny Bay Extra Large Body Heating Wrap is a good weight and did not slide off my shoulders when heating the next and shoulder area. It has a cozy fleece cover that feels very soft and comfortable. The cover is removable for laundering. When I open the packaging the Sunny Bay Extra Large Body Heating Wrap it smelled so good! To me it smells like Green Tea, I love the scent of very much. I find the scent and the heated Wrap to be relaxing anytime. Definitely pay attention to the microwave instructions so you do not get burn because if you do not there will be hot spots and it will definitely catch your attention. I microwaved it for the two minutes as the directions specified. It was not exactly at the temperature I wanted it for the first microwaving, therefore as the directions state, I zapped it a couple more times at 10 seconds each. Then unrolled the Sunny Bay Extra Large Body Heating Wrap and gave it a shake to evenly distribute any heat or hot spots. I found it to be quite relaxing across my shoulders. The Sunny Bay Extra Large Body Heating Wrap was also nice to lay it long ways across a propped up pillow up watch TV or read a book before bed. The heat lasted about 35-40 minutes. The Sunny Bay Extra Large Body Heating Wrap reads that it can also be frozen as well. I think the Sunny Bay Extra Large Body Heating Wrap will be ideal for heating up cold sheets in the winter time as well! I enjoy products that have multi-uses. I have seen similar heat wraps, but never one that smelled this good or was this size, extra lager

After a long drive and unloading boxes, this can be a real life saver. Versatile and flexible, can be used to target just my lower back, providing support as I sit, or cover a larger area. Can also be cooled to provide that hot/cold relief. Well made and a good choice.

The first thing that sets this apart from other hot/cold packs is it's size. It's big. In the photo it more than covers my entire lap, and I'm a curvy girl, so it's large enough for bigger areas like your back. The fleece cover is removable. Which is really nice if it gets get or dirty. It's easy to clean. It also helps with protection to your skin, so you don't have to wrap it in a towel. And another plus is that the fleece has a gripping quality if you are wearing cotton where it's placed. It has a good amount of weight to it too, so it doesn't shift around really easy. It stays put better.

I was really excited to get this because I thought it would really help out with my back pain and shoulder pain, but when it arrived I was kind disappointed. It is not as big as they make it out to be and it takes awhile to heat it up in my microwave. The only way to get the heat effect is to lay on your stomach and have someone else lay it on your back in the right place to relieve the pain..I was not able to heat it and then sit in my chair with it on my back, in the right spot to relieve the pain.. it does work really well after heated to lay over your shoulder and relieve that pain, the only downfall is that you would need two so you had one for each shoulder to have it laid over each one to get the kind of relief that you are looking for. It does work wonderful on your knees, whether you need the heat or the cold. It is pretty easy to through it in the freezer to get it cold because freezers are somewhat bigger than microwaves. Probably having it around longer I will get use to it and it will work better. I may have to get another one, so my husband can use it.

Nice size and covers a large area of neck and back. Like that it has a washable cover but does not get as warm as husband would like.

This heating wrap is absolutely essential for heat therapy or for when you need something to curdle in chilly whether. It heats up after two minutes in the microwave. The instructions says it can then be heated by 5-10 secs increments until the desired warmth is reached. Mine did not need extra time to keep me warm. Once heated, it covered my entire my stomach and the heat lasted about 30 min. I like the fact that it does not need to be plugged in to produce or retain heat. I have investigated other heating pad in the past. All of them needs to be plugged in, which was a deal breaker for me. I have not washed the cover yet. But it looks like it is made of quality material which should last for a while. The only thing that I wish it should have are Velcro stripes that can tie the wrap around me. The way it is currently designed, I can not be in upright position while keeping it on my stomach, which is a bit inconvenient.

This wrap is easy to use, stays warm for about 20 minutes, which is recommended treatment time. It is washable but I have not washed it yet. Made of heavy duty soft material. I would recommend this product for anyone with lower or upper back discomfort.

Firstly, I want to put out there I thought this heating wrap was the kind to be plugged in. If I'd known it was meant to be heated through the microwave I would've never requested it in the first place. I like how the wrap can be used as a ice pack.. I definitely will use it in that perspective, not heat it up in the microwave..Heating something like that seems to be a fire danger when someone who isn't careful or read instructions.
