Sunnydaze Easy Access 40" Round Steel Spark Screen with Hinged Door

The screen was very easy to put together and the inner screen slides easily. Hopefully it lasts awhile.

My husband built us a beautiful fire pit for the back yard but it needed a screen for safety. This one is perfect…

Awesome! Fits great, love the slide feature. Easy to assemble!

So far excellent- very tall so fit a lot of wood into the pit.

Easy to assemble and perfect size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were concerned that with supply chain interruptions that we would not be able to get the spark screen before summer was over up here in the northern part of the US, but our worries were unfounded. Sunnydaze shipped quickly and after a struggle putting the screen together (our fault) we are enjoying using the screen without the worry that sparks will catch our nearby plants on fire or harm our grandchildren. The quality is as good as it gets!

So happy with our new fir pit screen. It was simple to put together and allows so much more wood in the fire than a smaller screen. It's heavy enough that it stays in place. The handles allow for easy access to the fire without having to move the entire screen. It was a great choice.

This screen was exactly what I was looking for.

The spark screen sent was not the one pictured. The handles were thin and not securely welded…one broke off during assembly..(the one picture has handles that screw on, like the one I was replacing and are much more sturdy). I contacted Walmart, who in turn contacted Sunnydaze regarding the issue. Sunnydaze had me send photos of the issue and offered a refund or replacement. I am currently waiting for the replacement, which I was advised would be like the model in the photos. Guess time will tell.

As others mentioned, the directions are terrible. The product isn't high quality, especially for that price. I needed a hinged cover for my in-ground fire pit so my dog won't eat the charred wood. I doubt this product will make it more than one season.
