Got it set up, easy to assemble! Tested it out tonight with the moon and it blew my mind how well you could see the moon I can actually see all of the craters and the kids were amazed by it!

Excellent package and a good value as a gift to give to my friend's son, who is seven years old. He was really happy to receive it. Compared with other plastic toys, this is a good learning toy and can help kids to explore more.

I ordered this telescope for my granddaughter for a xmas gift.

The only positive I can muster, is that the tripod is pretty nice, and a full sized, sturdy unit. The optics are pretty bad, not clear, and you must place your eye in just the right place to see ANYTHING. The spotting scope on the side, shows everything upside down, with no way to fix it. The 6 lens (the most powerful one of the three included), is pretty much unusable. It has such a tiny field of view, that it's like trying to look through the eye of a needle. Also, the magnification is WAY OFF of the claimed magnification. Using the mid strength lens, the 12, my 16x power binoculars are just as strong, with a much clearer view and much larger field of view. I've already set up a return.
