Sunpentown 1.1 Cu. ft. Upright Freezer, White

Two weeks in. So far so good. 1.1 CU FT provides more room than I expected. Frozen goods frequently accessed are handy, and avoids a walk to the garage to the big freezer. The unit had NO PROBLEM reaching sub-zero temperatures in our moderate 60-70 degree climate. I ended up backing the dial off from MAX to just a few degrees from MIN and the calibrated thermometer I placed in the freezer still reads 0 degrees. So, as long as this baby lasts a few years it was well worth the investment. My meter reads .3 amps when unit is running. .32kWh over 24 hours. Nice!

I love my freezer just the right size to go right on top of my mini freezer easy convenience

This freezer is a very convenient size and is very handy for storing items that I don't use very often, freeing up space in my side-by-side, which is very limited. One caveat however: When taking it out of the shipping carton, we noticed the door did not line up correctly and the screws were one-quarter inch off of where they were supposed to be. My husband had to actually drill new holes and realign the door so it would fit. This was not a problem for him but would be if the item was purchased by someone who did not have the ability to correct such a defect. I don't know where this was made, but obviously quality control is not a top priority. Others have not mentioned this, so perhaps it is not common. Otherwise the freezer seems to be first rate and I would recommend it.
