Sunvivi 24 Quart Electric Turkey Roaster Oven with Visible Glass Lid,Removable Pan & Rack, Stainless Steel,Black

We got this roaster in a fast pinch because our oven stopped working. Arrived super fast, we washed it out for first-time use . It does give off an odor when you first turn it on but goes away . Cooked great , gets nice and hot, easy to clean. Definitely worth having one of these roasters around .

There are some sharp edges but it cooked my turkey beautifully. Perfect temperature, moist and beautiful brown.

I've had a couple of these before, but the reason this 1 is so much nicer is you can actually look inside at your cooking and you don't have to lift the lake, which is so nice.

Worked well for cooking turkey for Thanksgiving, it left the oven available to cook other items

I actually have not cooked any food in it yet because of the funny smell it emits when it is hot. I had read that if you heat it up using the 400 F mark the smell would go away. I have done this 4 times and once with just water filled up half way. (so I know it does heat up well) It still has the smell. I also washed it with soap and water. I guess I will just continue to do this until the smell goes away because I am not sure I want to cook anything in it in case it makes the food taste "funny" Any other ideas to make the smell go away ?

RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT, OPENED THE BOX AND IT WAS DESTROYED, PAINT WAS ALL STRATCHED AND WAS NOT ABLE TO EVEN USE. ASKED WALMART FOR A REFUND AND THEY SAID NO IT WAS PURCHASED BY A 3RD PARTY AND COULD NOT RETURN. WATCH WHAT YOU PURCHASE FROM THIS SCAM OF AN ON LINE SYSTEM.
