Super Mario Bros. Movie (Walmart Exclusive) Limited Edition Giftset with Collectible Tin Star (4K Ultra HD + Blu-Ray + Digital Copy)

People complaining about the “2050” date… if you did any research you would know that Walmart used a placeholder because the movie did not have a set date for release. In regards to the actual product… AWESOME! Great deal and collector edition for all forms of the movie (besides 4K). Received it today and am thoroughly enjoying it :)

Me and my family love this movie and the streaming feature is so cool. I sign up to a streaming account that they suggest to make and then you can connect your prime video account or your YouTube account and you are able to stream the movie on those play forms it's so cool!! The star case it self is cute and it has a stand so you can display it if you like.

The picture of the star on the package looks much brighter than it actually is. I expected the color to be more vibrant as pictured but it is more dull and metallic looking. The edges of the star in the picture look rounded off but the actual tin is flat and lacking the detailed dimensions that seem to be present in the picture.

very good movie the only thing is was not packaged very well which is why i only gave it 3 stars instead of 5. the movie and tin were in perfect shape but the outer boxing got banged up due to not packaged very well. i would have liked to display it in its box but not now since it got banged up.

The collectors set feels like it's lack in every way it suppose to be. It should be more than just a display tin. The digital code doesn't work at all, and can't stream it now. For a fan of the Super Mario Bro games, this really feels very over exaggerated with the Mario name.

This review is of this special edition, not the movie itself. As of this writing the regular 4K version of this movie is about $11 cheaper than this special edition. Unfortunately, this version is not worth the extra money. The pictures are very misleading, it makes it seem like it'll be a 3D shaped super star from the movie. However, what you get is a flat, cheap, star-shaped tin. The tin is so cheap that it feels like it could bend and dent just by handling it. The stand that it comes with feels really solid and has magnets to hold the star in place, unfortunately the ton of the star feels so low quality that I worry it'll get scratched by the base. Not worth it.

I'm surprised about people praising this for the price paid. The tin star is a very cheap piece of tin and the eyes are not raised, they are flat on the tin star. Definitely not worth the 30 plus dollars. The best thing is the discs being held in place by circular spacers that do keep them from coming loose. Also, a very cheap stand with 2 or 3 very little circular magnets. Make sure to keep it in a place that is not too elevated. Great movie and yes, the box itself was sturdy, the Star was terrible and not worth the extra money.

The movies work fine, but this collector's edition is a bust. The star is the ONLY case included, and I wish there was a normal plastic disc case that I could use if I wanted to. The star also can't stay on the stand it comes with, the magnets on the stand aren't strong enough, and without a second case for the discs and it not fitting on a shelf like most disc cases, I have to store the star in a drawer, defeating the purpose. Might get rid of this to buy a normal set for convenience.

Horrible product, steelbook comes with a stand thats magnetic but it isnt even strong enough to hold it, eventually fall off and damages product. Item was a true waste of money. Dont buy this product its really not worth it. If i could return it i would.
