This Mario game for the Nintendo Switch is a ton of family fun and is a fresh new twist to the 'same ole'. There are new characters, new blocks, just a lot of nuances and it is SO WORTH THE PURCHASE! We have already played this game for hours as a family. Great bonding time.
It's a gift for my grandson that's what he wants for his birthday.
There was no problem with the package delivery and the story, the characters and the gameplay are all so cute! I'll be buying my games from here for now on.
Fun and entertaining game
Arrived quickly and kids love it.
Was able to get overnight delivery. Game was brand new in package and works like a charm on my switch without any issues.
Compared to the Demo, Wonder has more to offer than a simple linear experience. With a nice difficulty progressing that doesn't insult more veteran players, all the while keeping a reasonable requirement for story progression that newer players won't feel is unfair. The game can be a bit frustrating in multiplayer if you're unaccustomed to how Nintendo's last few Mario titles function. Lives are a resource for all players on screen, and the camera only follows the "Lead" Player. Resulting in some extra deaths from other players who are just trying to do their own thing. Thankfully, Nintendo decided to be a little more just and have dead players turn into ghosts that snap close to where the lead is and be revived by another player at no life cost. Gameplay aside, this is probably the most beautiful Mario game I've ever played. The colors are pleasant, each character has a lot of work put into their presentation and animations, and when you look closely they almost look like the vinyl designs from the Mario 64 manual. Which personally, is a style I was hoping to see more of out of future Mario titles because the toy aesthetic feels more surreal and appealing in a kids game. It's clear they tried to have as much fun with the sound design as possible. I found some of the jingles pleasantly stay in your head afterwards, just as they used to from the earlier titles from the 80's to Y2K. The badge's are a welcomed addition to your arsenal, and are a lovely nod to the the Mario and Luigi rpg's. While not over powered, these little modifiers can grant one additional ability, utility change, or unique trait that is constantly active. Badges can be changed just before loading a level or after dying in a level. The only draw back to Badges is that you can only equip one that effects all players. So of you like having double jump, but your less experienced player needs killzone protection, you're just gonna have to do what's best for the team. Selfishly letting your teammate die because double jump is the best badge (No, I'm not switching it. You're just gonna have to swim to me as a ghost.) aside. This is definitely one of Nintendo's best side scrolling Mario games to date. In my humble opinion, putting all of Wii/Ds/WiiU titles to absolute shame. Kind of like the shame I felt in having to type out the last three devices a side scrolling Mario game was on, because Nintendo was in some kind of off season in the naming department. 10/10 game for all ages.
My package was here when it said it would be and Im very satisfied with the product as well
This for a DLC and not the full game. you have to purchase the game separately.
I purchased this game online and upon receipt I noticed this was a low quality reproduction. Took it back to the store and sadly the employees including management did not seem to care the item was clearly counterfeit and said it was how they all came. I returned it and went to Best Buy.
