I like those speedy oil change service centers, but they're always upselling something. When he showed me my daughter's Nissan Rogue air filter I (internally) agreed with him that it needed changing, but said I'd handle it myself. So, I did. The price at Walmart was right and the fit perfect. A YouTube video showed me the location under the hood and in roughly 7 minutes the deed was done.

Just what I needed for my 2018 Dodge Durango! Such a good price and beats having someone else install it for a way higher price. I was due for a new air filter badly, and was in a pinch so this came to the rescue. Was easy to install and had fresh air flowing instantly. Would get this again and maybe even keep one handy just in case. Easy to change out, high quality and sturdy, and will filter dirt and dust greatly. Highly recommend!

So I'm not skilled on car maintenance and prevention but I do know it is important to change your air filters about every 30 000 miles or so. Especially living where I do, we get a lot of dust, dirt, mud, etc., un in your car's whole system. The air filters filter that out but just like a coffee filter, it gets full of the stuff and needs to be changed so it has room to absorb the other stuff. My filter looked awful. Lucky for me, even though this is a GM product, it fit my Chevy perfectly. My ex husband who put it in also has a GM this would fit on. So he probably should change his too. As far as the filter itself goes, there were no flaws and it looked like it should. It fit how it should too. I also like that it was made in the US! I definitely recommend. Great value and it really does change the way your car drives and then you just feel a lot cleaner knowing that your car is filtering the gunk out for better driving capabilities and performance. Dirty filters and air flow can really hinder your car. Now it can run great again. I did get to try this for free through the Spark review program but the opinions here are based on my own experiences and opinions.

I used to get the air filter replaced as part of my regular oil changes, and didn't give it much thought. But I recently realized that, while the cost of oil changes has continued to rise over the years, the air filter (along with other tasks) was removed from the list of things they'll check and fix each time. I don't know how long it's actually been since the air filter was replaced, but judging from the dirt in my filter, it was more than enough to be the cause of my car's recent sluggishness. Given how long it's been since high school, I wasn't sure how difficult it would be to swap out the old filter with this new one, but it literally took no more than two minutes. In my Dodge van, I opened the hood, found in the case on the very left, and unclicked the clasp on the front and rear of the filter -- super easy. This new filter fit perfectly and is every bit as well made as the one it replaced, which I was glad to see. Plus, my car seems to be running better now. Grateful for this quality part and the simple fix that will save me money on gas and add life to my vehicle.

Filter itself fit my 2014 Ford Escape nicely but it took a bit of effort to get the filter housing cover back in place...not a problem due to the filter, just a little difficult to get the housing cover to mate-up with its other half. Only complaint I have about the filter is that I purchased it online and it arrived in pretty poor condition...box was a bit mangled (see pics below) but filter inside seemed to be fine. Not sure whether somebody grabbed it off the shelf in that condition or whether the damage happened in transit. Luckily the filter was undamaged and fit nicely.

I received my order today, but the product appears to have been previously opened and returned. The original package seal was broken, and the contents were somewhat dirty, which makes it seem like this is not a new item. I ordered a new product, so I'm disappointed to receive one in this condition.

All my maintenance products are Super Tech. However, this air filter, the material vas super thin and gave way in certain areas, see photo. So i exchanged it and the new one was the same, so super filtering material it was actually torn, brand new right out of the box, both times.

Avoid getting this air filter, the rubber gasket around the filter media is much thicker than stock or oem filter and won't fit well in the air box. When I tried to fit in the airbox, the spring clips were having hard time to clamp because of the thicker gasket. Returned it
