Super Tech 1234YF Refrigerant, 8oz

My AC in my car was out in the Southern USA in July. This was a lifesaver b/c I was roasting in my car. It was a reasonable price and I was so glad that I was able to get it so quickly at Wal-Mart. I bought 2 but only ended up needing one can. So much cheaper than going to a shop to get them to add the coolant.

This product is easy to use and is reasonably priced. My air conditioning system was low and this took care of it. I saved hundreds doing this myself.

The Refrigerant did the job. It got the AC working again. People need to understand that this can is refrigerant only, and the more expensive cans have unnecessary add ons. For example, stop leak plus oil are included in the bigger cans that come with the hose and trigger. Sometimes you buy 4 oz of oil in those cans with only 6 ounces of refrigerant. Using those can you can easily overcharge your system oil and it will cause the AC to stop blowing cold. The only way to get that oil out is to separate the system and flush it out. If you only use this can, you can not overcharge the system with oil because you are only adding refrigerant. Of course you can overcharge the system with refrigerant, but that can be prevented by not adding more than the max system capacity. Stop leak will never seal/repair a refrigerant leak, it's a sales gimmick to sell more product. Don't fall for it.

This product was easy to use

It filled my AC however, it hasn't gotten very chilly. It gets cold but not on very hot days. It could be an issue with my car rather than the product because it's happened with other brands. So I'm sure it's good product and worth a try.

The gauge was pretty much accurate for recharging because I am not hearing this hissi g noise
