Air filters are something that a lot of people do not realize that they are actually super easy to install, and this one is no exception. It is definitely no frills - just an air filter in a box, but that is all you need. Easy to take out the old one and put in the new one. This one filters very well, and it seems to do a very good job filtering the air. It is nice and thick and seems very well made. Nothing fancy, but an overall very good product.

I currently have 172 thousand miles on my truck and Super Tech Air Filter is the one I've used; my truck still runs like the day I bought it. Let me dispel some myths on Air Filters here; several places on the internet have said that just because the filter (or any filter) is a few dollars cheaper than most that they are no good! That statement is just a flat out lie! I love the Super Tech brand and a lot of the myths are just that myths. Walmart wouldn't begin to sell something that important for your car if it was cheap or in any way diminished from other brands. I have a vehicle with 172k miles on it and it runs just like the day I bought it; I give credit where it's due and Super Tech gets all the credit on this one. Overall the technology used today in Super Tech Air Filters is awesome and that's exactly why they called it Super “TECH”! They are built very well and for sure they are an awesome filter. I love em tons and honestly with the money I been saving all these years, I could probably take a cruise! So don't worry about a lower price on these filters, just be glad to save and you can trust your Super Tech filter to do the job!

I have been running these in my 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS since new. I have 140k miles. These filters are basically the exact same as all the other brands - I have tried and tested them all. The only filters that are more heavily built are the VERY EXPENSIVE K%26N type filters which are overkill anyway for a commuter type car.

Filter itself fit my 2014 Ford Escape nicely but it took a bit of effort to get the filter housing cover back in place...not a problem due to the filter, just a little difficult to get the housing cover to mate-up with its other half. Only complaint I have about the filter is that I purchased it online and it arrived in pretty poor condition...box was a bit mangled (see pics below) but filter inside seemed to be fine. Not sure whether somebody grabbed it off the shelf in that condition or whether the damage happened in transit. Luckily the filter was undamaged and fit nicely.

Good quality product. These price of these filters are much cheaper than the next competitor's. Only complaint is that they are not stocked in all stores, so you may have to shop around or have to wait for delivery to get them. I guess that these filters being out of stock so often tells you how high in demand they are and, therefore, what a good buy they are.
