I've used this de-icer before because Walmart was out of stock of the Prestone brand named version. Outside of this being purple I can't find any faults in it. It dosent freeze in the lines or reservoir, it coats and breaks down frozen windshields, and it dosent leave any residue behind. It's slightly more cost effective than the named brands and stock was plentiful at Walmart. I grabbed 4 one gallon bottles which should last out the season for me with some left into spring. It was needed because I ran out duringa snow storm. It did not freeze when applied to the windshield and it seemed to clean nicely. There is a small amount of streaking that occurs during application but shortly after turning the wipers off it dries crystal clear.

This is amazing and everyone needs to have some on hand during the winter months. We had a strong winter storm that pounded us with sleet, freezing rain and snow. The subzero temps don't do your car any favors. Some people tend to pour more water in the radiator and not think about it or the regular windshield wiper fluid. This is specially formulated to not freeze. When I started my car up and turned the washers on, the fluid came right out on the windshield. I won't be without this in winter. My grandson and I shared a gallon and had plenty. Great investment. Much cheaper than a cracked radiator.

Works fast and thoroughly. Never have to worry about my wiper blades ripping off my vehicle from ice. And it doesn't freeze up in the reservoir or the line either. It also works fast and great on my aluminum wheelchair ramp when there's no time to wait on salt to work.

I can't speak for myself, but my husband says this product does what it should. He has been using it during a period of snow/ice, rain, and a storm that brought in a lot of dust.

Living in Wisconsin I need a wash that does not freeze. This item has a lower freeze point and compares favorably price wise with other brands of similar design. Good value.

it sucks the economy and inflation has affected everything but it's still a pretty good price for the negative I didn't even know there was a deicer I thought it was just good for really cold weather sweet bonus

i will never order online again. i received 2/3 of the bottles. i tried for a refund on the one, and was told to bring the damaged bottle back. um.. there is no bottle. i dont have it. so, you want me to bring something back i dont have? also, i had it delivered, i cannot make it to the store, which is why it was delivered, not a pickup
