You cannot beat this price nowadays for 5 quarts of oil. This is good enough to use on any car requiring 0W-16 because the chances are you'll be replacing your oil frequently enough. If this is the case, then no need to worry about the oil being second or third-tier quality. As long as you replace it frequently and between short intervals, then the brand name and quality won't matter so much. The price for this is unmatchable.
Best bang for your buck. I've used this in the past two vehicles. I average over 50,000 miles per year driving back and forth to Canada and this oil keeps my engine and spectacular shape. I used to settle and pay for expensive brands like Mobil 1 but at the end of the day if you're doing oil changes every 5,000 miles with full synthetic especially on a hybrid this will get the job done no question.
I heard in the news that synthetic oil is gonna be more expensive in the coming months so I look it up on the Walmart website and I got them for cheap. I bought six of them delivered the next day. How can you beat that?
I'm glad that Walmart stocks the 0W16 oil now. I used it in all my previous vehicles for years but didn't have it until now for my 2021 Rav4. It's an excellent and very affordable engine oil.
The oil is fine. The only problem is that I had to order it online, because the store was out of stock.
cant beat the $. same or even better vs similar name brands. its motor oil does the job dont need anything fancy
Of course, there's no way to actually know how good this is, so quality rating is pretty meaningless. But utility would be improved if container was marked in volume increments so user could easily tell how much had been used and how much was left. Also would be nice if standard size pouring spout (that fits 1qt containers) also fit this one.
I'm a long time user of ST oil with good results on all of my non-hybrid gas engines. However, when I used ST 0w-16 (typically use penzoil and M1 0w-16) in my 2021 highlander hybrid the gas mileage literally went from 33-36mpg down to 25mpg. Same driving, nothing different. I changed back to penzoil at 1000 miles and gas mileage went back up immediately to 33-36mpg. Won't be using ST 0w-16 in any of our hybrids and would be interested to know if others have experienced this dramatic drop in mpg's
This oil gets good ratings, and the pricing is great! I haven't put it in my vehicles yet, but I'm sure it's fine. My problem is with the delivery. I ordered 3 jugs of 0W/16, but I received 2 jugs of 0W/16, and one jug of 5W/20. This tells me the semi-conscious clown who filled the order couldn't be bothered to read the labels as he/she picked the order. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, as I can use the 5W/20 in another vehicle...but this just shows the lack of care and attention to detail that is put into filling online orders at Walmart.
Oil is leaking with a sealed cap. I have ordered oil from Costco that shipped from across the country with no issues but a delivery from my local walmart has leaking oil?! Sealed cap does not prevent oil from leaking.
