If you have vinyl windows and doors, you absolutely need this. It works like magic making older windows and doors slide with ease. No residue is left behind, and the smell dissipates very quickly. I used this on windows that required a lot of effort and after applying it you could open them with your little finger with ease. This also worked well on automotive door weather stripping keeping the doors from freezing shut. Excellent spray!
My 26 year old old pick up truck was getting so squeaky that I had to do something about it. Did Google searches for the cause of old trucks squeaking. The rubber bushings in the front end and the leaf springs are sources of the squeaky noises. Cab and bed rubber bushings can squeak, too. I liberally sprayed every rubber bushing under the front end front from tire rods, shock absorbers, and anything else that looked like a little black rubber boot or doughnut. I took the truck jack and lifted the rear end one side at a time just enough to get the leaf springs to separate. I liberally sprayed the plastic wedge looking things on the ends of the leaf springs and in-between the leaf springs as well. I lowered the truck and let the soaked bushings and leaf springs alone to sit all night to soak in the silicone spray better. By next morning there were no squeaking noises when I drove it several miles. I also sprayed the interior of the rubber boot at the end of the steering column and where the column goes through the firewall through a rubber boot. No more squeaky noises when I turned the wheel. This kind of work has to be repeated occasionally, but it's worth the hassle. YouTube videos could be available to let you know where the rubber bushings are in your ride, if you are interested. If you lift the truck with a hydraulic jack, be sure to use sturdy jack stands to keep the truck or car lifted. It's not safe to use a hydraulic jack only to keep the vehicle lifted. You'll have to get under your vehicle a little to spray the leaf springs ends, so safety always comes first. Never put your fingers in-between the separated leaf springs either. Use a stick or screw driver, if you need to move something in between the separated leaf springs.
it works well. very very faint smell: you can use it in the house. sprayed it on the sluggish sliding glass door tracks, car door locks, padlock, and bicycle chain. thanks.
A neighbor told me to spray it in the chute and auger area of my snow blower to prevent it from clogging. It works great to prevent the snow from clogging.
I always use silicone spray to maintain my truck's weather stripping around the doors, windows, etc. Keeps it nice and supple and creates contact between the stripping and the metal.
Super tech is a excellent product.I use this product to lubricant my windows in my vehicle. They roll up and down like brand new.I highly recommend.Easy to use,has no smell.U can use on Doors, hinges etc.
Great for all around use. I buy tons of this stuff for automotive repair. Makes hoses easy to remove and install and protect electrical components. excellent for anything metal that needs protection for corrosion proofing
I like the value and seems to be as good as some other brands but be careful cause the solvent carrier could be a problem read the label instructions and warnings before use.
It really didn't take 59 minutes. I did that just to get your attention, but the part about going to the store that I never order from for pickup vs the one that I always order from is true. I only go the other as my GF works near there.
I can't really review the item, because the seller sent me a dented can, missing the red straw, which I needed to use the product. Yet another seller trying to pass off damaged goods as new, thinking that the buyer won't bother to complain. You have to submit a product review to be invited to review the seller, so here we are.
