Most tops if not all say they keep food fresh for 18 months. I use that as my use by date on my foods like most people do. These lids have a 36 month seal, nicer heavy duty seal ring, thicker metal and a large pop when they seal. Not to mention I've yet to have one not seal, unlike the tops that come with the Ball jars.

These lids are amazing. Made in America is always a plus in my opinion. I haven't had any failures with them. I refuse to use ball lids for anything other than something that goes into the fridge for a few days. Ball has consistently failed both with vacuum sealing and canning. If they seal initially they will unfortunately unseal within a few days, weeks, or months. It's not worth the risk of having them unseal so I'm sticking with the Superb brand lids.

I haven't had a seal fail yet! These are made on the USA and are one of my top two brands. When you invest so much time and effort to preserve things, either WB or PC, you want the best flats (lids) you can afford!! When they seal you WILL know it because the "pop" is very distinguishable! I also like that they're available on the shelf at Walmart. Your jars are also important but, the flats and some ring bands that come with them are JUNK! I replace all flats with these Superb ones and save the others for storage of leftovers in fridge or vacuum sealing jars.

These are the best lids around. They're made in the USA, which really matters to me. The 4 Jars brand lids are made overseas—only their jars are made in America. Let's support American workers whenever we can. These lids are truly excellent. Every single one seals perfectly, with no worrying about whether they'll seal or not.

Superb is a local Ohio company and I like to support American companies. Superb 's canning lids are SUPERIOR to the "B" brand. There's more product around the edge of the seal, and the metal lid itself is a better weight, and I've never had a single lid fail! I've used both their regular lids and their wide-mouth lids with equal success. Highly recommend!

I bought these lights to replace two xenon spotlights on my front and back decks. Xenon replacement bulbs are too expensive and get very hot. I wanted something with a more vintage look to match the style of my home. Did my research and was surprised at how many other manufacturers out there have switched to plastic, which isn't very suitable for high summer heat and frigid cold winter temperatures of Central Florida. I'm very pleased with these. Solid build, quality materials of aluminum and actual glass windows. installation was easy. I especially like the open bottom versus the completely enclosed versions. That allows easy access to change bulbs without disassembly when needed.

At first I hated these lid , because some of the lids buckled, but later I learn it was my fault. I was putting them on too tight, see I usually put my ball lids on tight, because one time a quart jar opened during canning, and all the slice apple was waisted, along with all the hard work and time I put in them. I learned the superb lids rubber is thicker and they seal quicker. If the jar is tightly seal the air can't get out and this cause the lids to buckle. So, yes, definitely buy this, but only 3 finger tighten. These lids are much durable than ball, forjars and all the generics. Heavy duty in standards.

Just what I thought they would be. Well pacckaged. Well made. on time. I use these jars on a daily basis to keep my fruit and vegetables for making smoothies every morning.

Superb canning flats are reliable and fit the range of jars that I use. I will continue to use them. I love that my order arrived quickly after I placed my order.

Superb lids have a larger sealing surface and the lid itself is thicker than most others. They seal with a loud ping like lids did years ago. I will continue to use Super lids due to their durability.
