My Son swears by this stuff. He has been making forged knives for several years now and this is the exact product he buys to mount the handles. My reason to buy the kit is so that I could fix an old wooden ship (shelf size) that had been knocked off and broken. We tried some different glues, even brand name stuff, but once the ship was put back on the shelf, we'd walk by and a part was laying on the shelf or floor. Now this was all wood, no metal, but it's used to join wood, and it's clear. So once put on, you can't see it and that was important. This mixes pretty well and depending on how you mix it, you've got 30-40 seconds to a couple minutes for it to set. It's been 24 hours now and no parts are laying on the shelf or floor. Gonna call it a good job and I have plenty left over to do other things.
This is very strong easy to use epoxy glue. I make and replace knife handles. Just mix amount you need 50/50 and mix together. It is water proof and seems to last on kitchen knives.
