This thing is huge, perfect for my big family. Decided I was going to try cooking the Christmas turkey in this this year so it frees up my double oven for the rest of dinner. So far tested it with a pork roast and the probes showed it heating up really quick and to temperature. i was worried the lid was going to be too light weight and although i think it should be a bit thicker it still worked great. Only negative I have so far is it got super hot, we are getting a silicone mat to put on counter but even the plastic handle got so hot you couldn't open it without oven mitts. it also cleaned up really well and easy with really burnt on pork juices. I am feeling very confident that it will cook and crispen our turkey just right and gives us the ability to have a very controlled area for the turkey if we want to add anything to it cooking, will also be perfect to keep turkey nice and warm in while we finish everything else off which has also normally been a problem for me.

Due to the holiday and so much food for me to cook I needed a second oven, and this was perfect. I actually brought it during the early Black Friday deals so I was able to purchase it a a great price. After using it to cook my 24Lb turkey I would buy it again and at normal price, well worth it.

Our camp trailer does not have an oven, this electric roaster oven makes up for that. RO draws nearly 1500 watts, so we use a 14 gage extension cord plugged into campground power, keeps the power load off of the trailer electrical. Only negative comment is that the power LED is hard to see when the RO is on.

Does what it says on the tin. We actually placed this cookier outside the back door and let the Thanksgiving turkey roast there - everything went flawlessly. I was initially concerned over the packaging smell they unit gave off when it initially started cooking, but it seemed to subside.

My turkey came out very juicy and tender. I just bought another one bigger than this one. My old one conked out on me cooking my ham on Thanksgiving. So when my turkey was done I took my ham out of the old one and placed it in the newer one and the ham was finished in no time. That too came out juicy. I recommend this product.

It perfectly cooked my turkey, was easy to use and the initial plastic smell when first turning it on went away quickly. No scary smoke or shipped paint! But it was a little smaller than I expected, I had a 16lb turkey this thanksgiving and it didn't have much room when placed on the rack.

I have one big suggestion. When using for the first time turn the dial up to the highest heat and either leave the room or go outside. It gives off a horrible chemical smell that makes your eyes burn. After several minutes the smell will start to fade. You can the go ahead and use it. It works great. Oh, one other thing the light on mine doesn't work but it cooked my Thanksgiving turkey beautifully. It was so moist and tender the meat literally fell off the bone. So make sure your platter is where it will catch the turkey. Otherwise you'll have a big mess.

The length of the lifting handles for the open rate are way too short and should at least make it up to the top of the removable pan. I found it very difficult with a large turkey in there to get my hands on the handle to lift it out other than that it's a great value for the money great product, but those handles need to be improved upon

the temperature control doesn't work well. it didn't get warm at all until I turned the temperature up over 250. had I not already discarded the box, I would return it. I also have an Oster roaster and the temperature control on that is much better

The lid was terribly bent. It was bent from the factory. The box was in perfect shape. We could not use. I bought it for my Daughter first Thanksgiving at her house with her husband. Transported it from NW Indiana to South Alabama. When we opened the box it was unusable. Terrible quality control. It was obviously damaged before packaging and still packaged.
