Thicker isn’t better when using with equipment. This mat is thinner than some other options, but those are a foam material that tears more easily. This is a solid material that would be difficult to accidentally damage. The other SuperMats in this size (36” X 90”) is model 12GS, which is a foam material that weighs 11 pounds even though it is 1/4” thick. This model 15GS weighs 19 pounds even though it is 1/8” thick. The solid material supports the weight of heavy equipment and does not absorb sweat, making it easy to wipe down.

Matt fit under elliptic machine entirely, it was affordable and delivered to my house. can't ask for more than that.

It protects my carpet and it is non slippery

The SuperMats Heavy Duty Quality Commercial Grade mat is just what my treadmill (and carpet) needed. It is strong and holds very well under the weight of my treadmill. It stays in place and does not sink into my carpet like the regular vinyl or foam mats. Love it!

This is an excellent equipment mat. It is harder rubber so it doesn't tear up like other softer mats. I'm using it with a bike trainer so I step on the mat with cycling shoes, and the cleats do not damage the mat at all.

product is nice, but not the high quality expected

The mat is actually thinner than it appears in the photo, however it functions well and keeps the treadmill from slipping on my wood floor. It was a bit long for the treadmill we purchased, but we just used an utility knife and sliced off the extra bit.
