Really nice tires for the money. I don't expect them to do anything spectacular, however I live in the south. The roads don't usually get too bad down here. I'd probably avoid these for winter conditions and slick roads. But I own a number of vehicles so, this will suit me just fine.
Price was right for these tires (on Roll Back) manufactured in Thailand by Horizon Tire Company in a 195/60-15. Was notified when received and ready for install. No problem getting them installed and look good with all that tread. First thing I noticed was all the big heavy weights used to balance my prior Douglas tires were gone. Literally no weights on the outside of all 4. I thought they had goofed and forgot to balance them but noticed some small weights on the back after turning the steering to take a look. This speaks of really good uniformity and there have been no issues with noise or vibration at any speed. They run much quieter and there is no audible tread hum, merely the sound of tires on pavement. I'm not a high mileage driver since working from home these days so they should last a good while and I feel much safer having more tread now than just wear bars. Excellent purchase IMO.
So far so good. No problems yet, it does what tires are suppose to, pass safety inspections. I dont know how long these are suppose to last but if I can get 3yrs or 30k mi. out of these. I'll be happy. I dont know if i'll take these up to 180mph, good thing the car can barely do 110mph, but for normal highway speeds up to 95mph they're good. I live in Central Texas. Toll road 130 in Austin posted speed sign is 85mph. But most librals there do maybe 65mph. A..holes. I pay to be on a toll to get from point A to point B in good time not to go back into the past.
A friend recommended Priority Tires website he had purchased his tires said they very affordable and he was right I found the exact brand tires with the exact ratings affordable and with an loan option which I applied and was approved for everything was simple and in minutes I highly recommend this site
Thes tires mounted up and balanced easy. So far, the handling has been good. Road noise is a LITTLE more than my old tires. however, these are still new and very few miles on them. For the money I am extremely satisfied with the tires and would purchase another set.
I bought these tires from Priority because I've had good experiences with Cooper tires previously. The price was by far the best I could find on this version. I still have life on my current tires so I won't be installing these until early summer. The purchase experience from Priority was 5 stars.
I have only had these on my car for a week. So far I am very pleased. They balanced with only small weights- so the uniformity is good. The ride is smooth. No vibrations at any speed. Braking is good. Handling is good. And they look good. And best of all, the price was great!!
I hope this will help others!! Great price!! Very poor product dont buy!!!!!! I had these tires for 9 months and the wires are showing.. had them shipped to a professional tire place where the balance mounted and aligned.. car pulled really bad to the right so i brought it back to the tire place where they said everything lined up and it was just the poor quality of the tire.. whenever you buy these tires another place has to put them on for like say $15 to $20 a tire.. save the hassle and get the better know brands like i just got tires for $71 a tire but that includes balanced mounted and aligned so really its still the same price.. dont buy
We purchased 4 of these tires through Walmart.com April 2020, and they were installed about 2 weeks later by Walmart Auto. We did not buy the road hazard package. One of the tires started showing wear on the inside and outside. We took the car to get a possible alignment. The owner of Hurns Superior Alignment in Little Rock, AR said the tire had a knot and the tread was separating (there was approximately 3000-4000 miles on the tire). He also said lack of alignment would not affect the problems listed above. We contacted Walmart.com (per alignment owner) to get a replacement. They said we had to contact the manufacturer (Horizon Tires) and we had another problem. Walmart.com does not provide invoices with the mileage printed on it when a tire is purchased. Therefore, no refund or replacement. We had to replace a defective tire out our expenses, to complete the set in March 2021. Walmart.com is good for the pricing, but not helpful as far as returns or refunds with items not invoiced through the vendor. I believe we will have to purchase tires elsewhere to be able to get the manufacturer to honor their warranty. Below you will see pictures of the tires. The one on the top is the new replacement 2021. The one on the bottom is the tire from 2020. Jan Giggar
I ordered 2 tires and installation online and scheduled said installation. when i got to my appointment time for my tires to be put on my car. The tire center said they only had one delivered and they would have to reschedule and call me back when my 2nd tire arrived. 2 months and no call back. so i requested a full refund.
