perfect for living off grid battery backup works last for a lil bit of TV in the evening..if you want you can connect it to another backup power pack it came with all hook ups and 12v connector etc... it's really all we need..satisfied with the purchase!!!
This little tv was great during the recent ice storm and power outages. I was able to hear local weather reports and have some form of entertainment by using an antenna. I'm so glad I bought it!
Shipping was fast! Almost no assembly, and very easy to use. Great picture quality and just what we needed for trips, camping or power outages. Great purchase!
Very easy set up and was on in less than 10 minutes. I feel safer during storms with it when we lose internet/tv signals. Even plugged it into my portable solar system
This thing has an awesome picture with the ability to adjust the picture to your preferences just like all the other new TVs,. We wanted a little compact kitchen TV.. it's strange how it's not much bigger than an iPad yet it's really visible from a distance because if it's clarity. We already have a TV in the dining area and all I had to do was order a splitter for the HDMI cords. From that splitter, I just ran an HDMI cord back to the original dining TV and the other one which is somewhat longer around the corner into the kitchen to the this little TV. Because of how I particularly did it we're just watching the same channel that is on the dining TV. This way I don't have to turn up the dining TV so loud or constantly run to the dining room to glance at it once in a while. Now we can just stay in the kitchen and do our thing with an awesome picture. I wasn't sure if I liked having a little stand on it but I actually really like it and feel better that it's up and off the counter a little bit in case we spill something. The stand is very stable and very adjustable so you can twist, tilt or an angle the TV how you like it. Apparently it has a built-in battery like a tablet does so if we lose power, we have TV for a while as long as we got a signal through the cable. I haven't tried the little antenna yet, but other reviewers say that it works well . That would probably depend on the local stations in your area. One little tip … you might want to get four little rubber stick on pads to put on the bottom of the base to prevent sliding especially if you're going to place on a hard smooth slick surface.
the antenna worked as advertised. pickef up several local channels
i like that you can take it everywhere.
It says it was delivered and I have a photo; however, it was not found on porch. Possibly stolen..?
The set worked fine at first (though I did not receive the promised antenna). After ~10 days, it started turning itself off after ~1 minute. Walmart refused to do anything about this, saying their return policy on TVs was 2 days. So I had to contact the supplier, a place called Outlet in Van Nuys, CA. They had me repeat a number of things I had already tried, to confirm that the set was really defective. Satisfied, they asked me to ship the set back to them, after which they would refund my purchase costs. But when I told them that included the $44.40 it cost me to ship it back to them by USPS, they said their policy doesn't cover return shipping costs! What?!!! Give me a break! (And I won't be at all surprised if, after they receive the item, they declare it was broken in shipment, so they can't refund my purchase costs.)
This wouldn't even turn on but the light that said it was getting power was on. This had obviously already been sold as the plastic surround was not on right and the packages of extra parts and cords had already been opened. Even the batteries for the remote were damaged. Definitely returning!!!
