Supersonic SC609 360º HDTV Digital Amplified TV Motorized Rotating Antenna

This is an exceptional antenna for what it cost. Performs very well. Only problem I had was the remote doesn't work very well. But as I said for the price paid it is a GREAT deal.

The antenna has poor instructions; but can be set up within an hour or two. We have it inside the house attached to an old 48" lampstand to test it out the antenna before we put it on the 25 ft. Pole outside. It is rotating,but you got to push the button and hold it down til you get the picture you want. It does not get channels 120 miles away. The antenna was easy to assemble and mount. Once assembled, it was able to pick up stations over 50 miles away. The trick is to get the antenna high enough to pick up remote stations. The cable is very long, and not replaceable at the antenna -- it might be better if the cable were able to be replaceable at the antenna. The remote is able to rotate the antenna 360 degrees and then it reverses direction, or if you let go of the rotate button, the next time you depress the button it will spin the antenna in the opposite direction. The problem is that if the antenna is up in the attic on up on the roof, you have no idea of the direction that the antenna is pointing. To really use the rotation function, you would need a signal strength meter to determine the best position to leave it. (a signal strength meter would be a good option) --- The directions are basically a joke, very poor translation to english.

This antenna is great… we live in the country and can get like 40 channels.. would highly recommend!!

While I don't doubt the claims of reception, I do think that this unit would fly away or break in any wind over 30 mph. It is so lightly constructed that the rear reflector could easily be blown off. The directions - in a very bad translation into English, are hard to decipher. The initial connection between the antenna and the mount are thin and so light that when I extended them to hook them up, one broke. Scared another one will also. Had to solder it together. The motor is light weight. Do not think this is any real rotor. The controller looks like a toy. It functions in an aggressive movement which is not very precise, so if you do go past the signal, you will have a lot of fiddling to get it back. It does have a signal boost, which the unit must be powered to use. However the directions state that when the signal is found, turn off the unit - thus turning off the signal booster. It was fun to look at it, but I should have spent my money on a real rotor and directional antenna - as should you.

Upon receipt of the antenna I searched for installation instructions and found only a small sheet of paper with unclear directions. Upon installation, I discovered the antenna only received stations it was pointed at, and worked only when the unit was turned on. My previous antenna worked both directions and without power. This antenna is not what I expected, but receives stations it is pointed toward.

Did not live up to the advertised features. Only picked up 11 channels where our old antenna picked up 14; put the old one back up and returned the new one.

I will be returning this antenna to my local Walmart. After following a very limited assembly sheet, I installed it approximately 30' up. The end result was not what was to be expected according to all of the claims printed all over the packaging. It only was able to receive 2 channels that are less than 25 miles from my home.I am very disappointed with the product and the time spent assembling and installing it for nothing.

It was shipped and I received it with the box not having a single dent. Inside I found the plastic shaft snapped in two. Must have shipped from the factory that way since the box was undamaged. Doesnt say much for the manufacturers quality control. Walmart took the return just fine. I will choose another antenna product.

Though I would replace my fixed antenna that I received 7 channels with one that rotated. Rotation worked great however no matter what I tried I could only receive 2 channels with this one. Took it back and put the old one back on.
