The item provides pure R134a refrigerant, i.e., not containing additional oils and/or sealing particles, which notoriously can damage the compressor. Pure refrigerants have become rather rare on the market despite the fact that every car's manual clearly recommends the use only of pure refrigerants. I certainly hope that Walmart will continue to offer this product on its shelves.
works great in all automotive ac systems, if you are converting your r12 or 1234yf system over to 134 a then this will work remember on all r12 and 1234yf systems you must pull all the remaining r 12 or r1234yf from the system as to not mix refrigerant vacuum the system to -30psi and let it sit for a few hours, get the can of pag oil and 3 cans of r134a on systems without rear ac
The compressor was charged with gas; the procedure—including the charging process—lasted 7 to 8 minutes, and the air conditioning system returned to excellent cooling performance.
I like the price of this R-134A. I have used it for charging my Nissan and my refrigerator. It works well in both use cases. Be sure to look on the label for your car or refrigerator compressor to verify it uses R-134A. I had to fix a leak on my refrigerator and was able to restore it to full operation using a braze-on valve and one jug of this R-134A. Refrigerators do not take much to work. You can watch videos on how to fix older refrigerators. This style of refrigerant works better than the new stuff, especially in the garage. For cars, this is really easy to use. I have a valve kit so recharging is easy. These cans take a screw on adapter that reseals when you remove the kit. This is not the same as the ones that pierce the can. At the time the adapter was not available at Walmart so I had to go to an auto parts store.
I had the pressure gauge and hose from a can that I had used earlier, this is a great product. It is so easy to put air conditioner stuff in your own car. No need to take it in and only takes a few minutes. Trust me you can do it.
My water pump went out and so did my air. Water pump is fixed and the air is colder than ever. Thankfully there was no leak in my ac!
When I need this once the weather warmed up, it was sold out at Al the Walmart stores so I ordered it online. The problem was it went from $9.00 a can to $15.00 a can ! They take advantage of the need ! Now that it's been a few weeks the price has come down and it seems that everybody has it in stock now. I'd say the took advantage of the demand and gouged the public!
I will have to get it a Zero this is the second time I ordered refrigerator refrigerant but you keep sending me automotive refrigerant want my money back
At this price, I don't recommend it to no one. The price that it was before of nine dollars and change almost $10. I was OK with that even though it was still kind of high priced.
Brand as advertised when I submitted my order was SuperTech ..I received a different brand, Chemours..it did not work as expected!
