Supplemental Hosmart Alarm Sensor (1 Sensor coffee )

Cute little alarm…. Works great. Nice selection of tunes. We put batteries in and also had it plugged in, thinking the battery would be a back up if we lost power. But, it kept giving us a “battery low” warning (or something to that affect), so we removed the batteries and it works fine.

When I first put the sensor by the driveway I set it to high sensitivity. That was a mistake since I have trees all along my driveway and on a windy day it went off constantly. I took it down and changed it to low sensitivity. It now alerts me for cars and people walking up the driveway. The alarm has many different alerts. I picked the one of the barking dogs. It just seemed better and more appropriate than the other ones. The range is very good and it goes through a lot of mature trees.

This is a great device to have if you have a long driveway and never see a car coming until it pulls up to the house. Those days are over and no more surprises. I placed it about a quarter of a mile from the house.

This alarm works great! I put it 200 yards on the driveway at my house and it works fine! You can use up to 16 different alarms -and use different names and alarms for each one!

I love it. Works great. Good price. Has alot of tones you can choose from. We chose the Adam's family for now, but there is a patriotic tone and also a Christmas. Hope it last for a very long time. These are getting hard to find! Get it while you can. I am thinking of ordering another in case this one does quit or they quit selling them.

Adding a second sensor to the system works perfectly. Quality item, priced right, and delivered quickly.

Wish the receiver was solar like my last unit, it's a pain to change the batteries especially in the winter. The unit is working, easy set up but do not like the alarm sounds too much. It stopped working once and I've reset it. No lower the volume just louder.

These are nice in that you can program different chimes for different uses (I have them set on "west gate" and "east gate"), but they do tend to go off when nothing triggers them. I got them after some kids broke into my backyard (TWICE) and cut the liner of my swimming pool (again, TWICE). So, I was understandably nervous about people getting into the yard. With these going off all the time, it was waking me up, scaring me to death that someone was out there, and then I had to try to get back to sleep with my nerves jangling. So, some improvements could be made to how they function.

it works part of the time and part of the time it doesnt work. i had pne a couple years ago that worked petfectly. havent been able to find one that works as good since.

Instructions are very limited to set up or change the alert ringtone. I have not been able to change the system.
