I bought them because they are silicone and have lids! They are very easy to use straight out of the freezer and easier if you give them a couple of minutes to warm up. Then, the cubes pop out very easily. We stack them on top of each other in the freezer and they don't slide off of each other. They are a two-handed carry when full of water. A clean chemical bottle is a good way to get even cubes across the board!
I like that it is made of silicone and is very flexible and is helpful with extracting the ice cubes onto the lid and then I can store it into a Ziploc bag or directly into the glass. About a month ago I bought too much milk so I used my ice cube trays for freezing milk to prevent it from spoiling. The result was good and I also did freeze juice which resulted in delicious ice cubes.
I purchased these to freeze cubes of various creams of soup. I love using them to cook, but since I'm cooking for 2 instead of 6 now, I don't ever need a whole can. These are the perfect size to plop 3 or 4 into a dish, mixing and matching depending on the flavor profile I'm aiming for. The cubes pop out easily. They stack neatly in the freezer.
I use this product, not only as an ice cube tray, but also as a way to make my protein peanut butter yogurt treats. They make the treats a perfect size and also are so easy to remove the treats . I would definitely recommend these because they are so easy to remove because of the silicone.
Amazing, easy to use, and get ice out of the tray. No twisting and banging a plastic tray trying to get ice out. I use them to freeze fresh herbs in avocado oil, and then I pop them out into a labeled zip lock bag so they do not go bad, and I will always have them when coming.
As all silicone ice trays, ice pops right out, time will tell! Cubes fit into my RTIC journey bottle well, wish they were a tad bigger, but with 3 trays, it compensates. I've freezes fairly quickly, can get 3 trays a day-that's 9 trays-if you keep An eye on it.
I only received 2 ( not 3 ). Poor silicon to use for ice cubes I used it for arts %26 craft. So it was fine Walmart, please pick quality brands rather than cheap brands like this one. Consumers are smarter than you think .. consumers share their views privately online ….
Works great, just make sure to account for the expansion as it freezes. If filled too high it becomes a solid block across the top and a little difficult to separate. Other than that, once you find the “happy” spot and fill accordingly, these are awesome! The lid does not latch, so do not pick up by the lid, and since it is silicone, use caution when picking them up.
it is made of good material and easy to get the cubes out. But when you fill them up, it's hard to get to the freezer without spilling because they are so flimsy and pliable. they are not study enough to hold when full of water. If you put them on something solid, you could transfer to the freezer that way I suppose. Too much trouble. I liked the covers so freezer smells wouldn't seem into the ice though.
There were flecks of sediment or something in the ice that left flecks all over the glass in my drink. It was so gross. I'm glad I didn't serve this ice to guests! I was careful to hand wash with dish soap and soak. After the flecks issue, I put them in the dishwasher. I haven't tried to create ice again after the dishwasher.
