I really like this mini size glue gun. I had a larger one, but find this small one easy to hold and maneuver. I also find the stand to hold the glue gun in position to work very well. I found the skinny metal stand on my larger glue gun to not be supportive enough. It was frustrating trying to get the glue gun to stand up in a hurry without falling over when I needed my hands to hold the item I was working on. I also found the duel heat to be helpful. I've used the lower temp for more delicate jobs, such as gluing lace and paper, where I found the higher heat to be useful for heavier materials. I used the higher heat to glue the seam of the decorative box in my picture. If the is one negative, I would like a slightly longer cord. It's not bad, and probably long enough for most, but I found I needed to be fairly close to a receptacle.

I've had the same problem with ALL mini glue guns; it never has enough weight of its own to stand up right. This gun is a little different. It has a base large enough and a bit of rubber on the edges of the base so that it actually sits on the table without the cable's weight dragging it down or flipping it over so easily! It has dual-heat feature, which many mini glue guns don't have. It gives me the versatility I need for heat settings, rather than unplugging the heat gun when the temperature gets too hot. I love the quality, colors, and the feel of the gun, and the way it gives me a nice grip on it. Some part of the gun has a rubbery texture to it so that your grip is nice and comfortable. The auto shut-off feature is a good thing to have, although I don't need it and sometimes becomes annoying. It's better to be safe though, especially if you are working with kids; sometimes you just forget to shut it off even if not because of the kids. I've left my glue guns running accidentally a bunch of times and come back to a mess on the table. Overall, this is a good investment to have, especially for on the go, or for small projects where you don't want to pull out your regular glue gun. To me, the best feature on this is the dual temperature though (and the grip; oh I really do love the grip).

It actually holds the glue stick and it doesn't fall out. The glue gun is study when it is standing. The cord is a great length and isn't too short. The glue gun doesn't drip glue everywhere. You don't need to keep a paper plate under it. My favorite thing about it is that it doesn't tip over! Great glue gun to have for all of your craft projects!!

Just what I needed for small craft projects! I can apply small dabs and narrow lines of glue with precision. It won't replace the larger glue guns where more glue is required but I don't think it was intended to do that. It's got a comfortable grip and is easy to use. What's not to like?

Wow, what a wonderful surprise! So my grand-daughter is in the fourth grade and she loves doing arts and crafts. Well Papa in a number one for a few days. She absolutely loves this glue gun. She said that it is perfect and just what she needed. Thanks Walmart Sparks.

I received this yesterday, opened the package, plugged it in, and started on a project I'd bought materials for to make a holiday wreath. I made a copy of a holiday wreath I'd seen online for over $200 and it cost me less than $25 to make. Attached the ornaments using wire and hot glue to keep the ornaments secure. My next project with this tool will be to do some repairs on jewelry where a stone has fallen out. There are so many uses for it, and my husband is already eyeballing it too :-)

I love that it has the high and low temperatures in one glue gun, so no need to keep up with two glue guns anymore. It features an auto shut off after 30 minutes of non-use. I also love that is easy to hold and maneuver and is very light weight, which is great for people with arthritis or other issues with their hands. It will stand on its own and not tip over with the slightest movement of the cord, so you do not have to prop it up or lay it on its side. After using it, glue does not ooze out of the tip, so you use less glue sticks. You could use it on many different materials, including wood, metal, plastic, paper, ceramics, magnets, leather, fabric, and other porous and non-porous materials. You could use the low temperature for things like lace, ribbon, foil, lightweight fabric, floral foam, and other delicate materials. I would definitely recommend this to anyone for small to medium crafts or projects. Of course, children should be supervised, and never touch the tip of the gun to avoid burns.

I haven't had a large amount of time to spend crafting, but from what amount of time I have used this glue gun, I am pleased with it. I like the built in stand, but it does topple pretty easily. It's still better than the old ones that you have to just lay down.

Cute glue gun, but what purpose does it serve if you don't get a gun with at least 1-2 glue sticks in the package. It requires mini sticks, and luckily we have a craft store nearby to look for them. Like that it has a rest so it doesn't sit directly on countertop to melt it. Rectangular handle base will decrease likelihood of tipping.

I used other glue guns before, but this gun seems to be an improvement over the others. I love the dual temperatures, especially when using this on delicate fabrics. The size of the mini gun fits perfectly in my hand, and it's very comfortable to use. It has an automatic shut off system, giving me peace of mind if I forget to unplug the unit. It shuts off after 30 minutes; such a great feature. Even the colors (black and bright green) are pleasant to look at. I also really like how the unit stands on it's own, and I don't have to lay it on it's side, in between gluing an item. I used it to glue jewelry onto foam, for a unique shadow box artwork. I would recommend the dual temp glue gun.
