After talking to cable people that use RG 11 I have come to the conclusion that RG-11 is like a six lane interstate highway vs a 4 lane highway. There is simply more here than either RG 59 or RG 6. So if you are channeling an antenna to the house it is the preferred line to use. It is simply thicker. Meaning more signal getting to your house. Walmart promotes RG 6 on the shelves. That was correct years ago but not now. Walmart is making a big mistake in not keeping antenna supplies on the shelves. Something as simple as pads under a tripod mounted antenna for the roof are not available. The biggest error installers make is too many connections in line. This is where signal loss occurs. I would like small lengths of ready made RG 11 connectors on it simply so that an amplifier in line is more effective. That could be done with as little as 6 feet of line so that the amplifier never has a bad connection to deal with. So instead of 100 feet of line with two connectors you might have ninety feet interrupted on both sides with two five feet lines. Giving you 4 connectors to work with.
have. not used it yet, have to wait for dryer ground for antenna to be installed on tower
both 100 foot cables arrived quickly and i was all ready for the tv repair man. hooked up both cables myself and satellite working great. nice strong signal. repair man was impressed with RG 11 cables and price-lot less than what his company was offering.
I used this for a cell phone signal booster antenna connection and it diminished signal loss.
Easy to buy and good quality
Needed larger cable to run for an HD antenna and there is very little signal loss through the 100ft. of cable
need 25, 50, 75, 100 lengths quality is great.........be nice if cable was more flexible. fast shipping and price was ok!
