Love the tips
As an artist, I wanted the feeling I was used to when drawing on a tablet. I usually use a Cintiq but now while having this Surface Pro 4 I wanted the experience to feel closer. So I purchase the tip kit and now I can choose what feels right to me. Actually it's nice to change tips out and try something new too. Yeah you don't actually need this to draw on the SP4 but it does make the experience for me better.

Surface Pen Tip Kit-----Very Nice To Have
This is very easy to use and comes in very handy when doing different work with your pen. The cost is fair and picking up at the store is fast and efficient. Would I buy again? Absolutely.....but thinking these will last.
