I bought the Surface pro 3, back in 2014, when it first came on the market. I got the i5, with 128 GB. this was all I needed, since I was simply using it for university classes. It took me through those classes, and into the work force. I used it everyday, up intel June of 2017, when my pet husky, knocked it off the table, onto a hard tiled floor. I was sure it was dead. But, this is a strong PC, and the only thing it had was a cracked screen. The computer was still useable, but I was heart broken. The good news was that Fathers day was just around the corner, and my mother made me a great gift, she offered to replace it. I could have purchased just about any computer I wanted, but, instead, I bought the same exact one I had for three years. Now, I was afraid when I bought this one, that it would be used, refurbished, or grey market. However, what I got was a brand new Surface pro 3, with windows 10 pro installed already. I cant say how happy I am to get my computer back. Thanks Mom.
Quick startup, compact, easy to use. Opted for companion keyboard and wireless mouse.
I was shocked to see this tablet at the price I paid and got it today and it works perfect and it was "NEW"! It is fast, quiet, and does not overheat like with a lot of complaints are with Surface Pro series tablets. I already had a Pro 4 keyboard and Pro 4 pen to attach to it and is a fine machine.
I just like it, i bought it to replasezi my MacBook, But Even of it cannot compare w an Apple product, I end up keeping it too :)
Great
I loved it, was better than my old one. However I thought this was going to be new, it came in a regular box inside the tablet was wrapped in plastic, no manuals, no stylus pen. For the price it should have been lower and it should have refurbished in the description. So I sent it back, would love to have kept it but they didn't offer a lower price with it being refurbished.
They sent me a used tablet. Scratches all over the back of it, all dirty on the back. They are refusing to take it back because I cannot get good pictures because tablet is silver. I will have to out a stop on payment, and report them to better business bureau. I even tried sending a video. Why would I lie about this when I got a good price on it. I couldn't wait for it to come
I have ti take to microsoft store for replacement !
old tech, old camera and sound device. the deriver is for 2006. Unable to focus.
First of all, I first purchased this product when it came out. Not even a year later I took it out of my bag after coming back from class and there was a crack on the screen (it was small so I didn't think it was too big of a deal). I didn't even drop it or anything, so I have absolutely no idea how it happened. As it turns out, even with a small hairline of a crack the touch screen becomes obsolete. I decided to take it to the Microsoft store, unfortunately, it was less than a month out of warranty so there was "nothing they could do". They were extremely rude and told me I would have to purchase a NEW one since they don't have an option to replace the screen. This product was $1200 initially when I purchased it. I told them that is absolutely ridiculous that they don't have a way to replace the screen on such an expensive device. As I was about to leave one of the workers approached me and told me they can replace it with a refurbished device for cheaper. I've had negative experiences in the past with refurbished devices (phones) so I was weary but it wasn't with a Microsoft product so I considered it. He told me it would be $500 to replace it. I'm in college, I work part-time an that was literally all I had in my bank account and the new semester was starting the next day so I told him that I'll think about it. Fast forward to about a month later, my boyfriend knew that I really needed the surface for my class since I was taking a class that involved Photoshop so he told me he could give me a little bit to help me out. Both of us went back to the SAME store and guess what? It was now $600 to replace it for the refurbished device. Relunctly I forked over $600 since I really needed the device for school. I get home and the volume button isn't working.... frustrated I didn't even bother pursuing it since I knew it'd be useless. To prevent anything from happening to this again, I purchased a case, a screen protector and made sure it was always in its own case before I put it in my backpack. I went on a trip the following semester and I brought it with me to work on some things while on the long flight, no issues going there and it was fine when I was at my destination. On the way home, again I took it out on the flight to use it, no issues. I get back home and take it out of my backpack and guess what happened again.....another hairline fracture but this time across the entire screen. I am not forking over another $600 to replace this device, it is absolutely ridiculous how fragile and cheap this product is made... Not worth it!!! Never will purchase another Microsoft product again, ever.
