[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this packable field shovel. It's great to use for all sorts of advantages you go on. It comes in a nice small bag for easy storage. This shovel is very light in weight and easy to carry in the case. The material feels very durable and seems like it will last a long time. The shovel comes with a rubber handle that gives you a nice grip well using it. And when you are all done using the shovel it's easy to fold it back up. This shovel locks into place when you unfold it to use. And when you are through using it you just fold it and it snap down in place. Its a great feature to have so you know the shovel is secure and won't open back up on you unless you snap it back out to use. It's easy to put back in bag to store it till you need to use it again. I'm so happy i found such a great product that gives me the space i need and does the job with no problems at all. It is a great shovel to own. And it works perfectly every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this neat shovel and thought it was great fir family camping as it makes it so much easier to dig out a small fire pit area .What I really like the most about it is the small teeth on one side that helps rid you of small twigs and shrub around the area. Sure does come in handy when you need it. It also folds in its own little case which makes it easier to carry or attaches to your belt or a clip if need be. Totally recommend

My husband is very impressed with how lightweight it is and can't wait to take it with us on our camping trip; he also likes it for doing small jobs around the house. It is easy to store, and I like how easy the handle is to grip. I definitely would recommend this shovel.

The shovel opens easy and has an awesome twist to lock in place to make this position secure. I plan on keeping this shovel in my trunk it's so small and portable. I can see getting many years of use from my shovel.

This carbon steel shovel head and stainless steel handled shovel is a great tool to have when you are doing yard work, root digging, out in the woods, camping, etc. It really gets the job done with its multi uses. The shovel head has a serrated edge to use as a saw when you need to cut things. The easy twist lock for folding and unfolding to keep it secured in place. The shovel head is durable for even the toughest of jobs as well. The rubber handle has a wide easy grip for better handling and a great grip. It folds at the joints to make it compact and fit into the included strong storage bag that can be taken anywhere you go. It can be easily cleaned up after use and put back into the storage bag until needed again. I would definitely recommend the SOL Packable Field Shovel when doing any yard work or camping for a great lightweight tool!

You can put it in your backpack, or even have it stored in your car. Can be used for any number of things, like camping, or an emergency shovel for you car, or even to use around the house. It is made really well and is very sturdy. It is super easy to assemble and ready to use in no time!! I think this is an awesome tool, and would highly recommend to everyone!!!

The serrated side make it easy to dig through small roots, while the carrying case and compact nature makes it easy to pack. It is a little heavier than I would like which can be important when packing light for a longer trip. I had recommended it to several friends while camping. Can't wait to take it metal detecting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sol packable field shovel is nice and compact. It tri-folds down and has a carrying case with a handle. To unfold, you just unfold it in a z-type pattern and tighten the twist-lock. To fold down, twist the lock lose and fold. It's somewhat easy to pinch your finger so watch out for that. If you don't twist it just right, the shovel will appear to just dangle back and forth; if this happens, re-tighten. The handle is wide and easy to hold. The shovel is durable, hard carbon steel and it's serrated on one side. This would be great for camping, or even keeping in your vehicle. I would recommend.
