These were swapped for what I ordered, but I have a set I boight years ago. If they are the same quality (made in the USA) they are excellent. If these are not the same quality, see if you can get them second hand on ebay.

My wife really likes these crochet hooks! She likes there are multiple sizes for her to choose from, and that she didn't have to buy each one individually. She also likes that each one is a different color. It makes crocheting more fun!

These are the same crochet hooks I learned the craft with more than 15 years ago. They are smooth, grab the yarn well and are ideal for any crochet project needing a 3.75-6.5mm hook :) 100% recommend - they're a no-frills and economical purchase.

I learned how to crochet on Susan Bates hooks. I don't remember them being as sharp when I was a kid as they are now, but they still work like intended. They are easy to use, but skinny metal hooks make my hands cramp these days, so I need to purchase the squishy handles to go with them.

There is a sharp barb on the top of the crochet hook head on one of the hooks. Highly annoying as it sticks me every time I make a stitch. Need to get so ethi g to file it down with. But otherwise these are great hooks!

These had a coating of some kind that made yarn slide less smoothly. With washing and a bit of rubbing with a paper towel it was better but there is still something about these hooks that just isn't as pleasant to use as my older Susan Bates hooks so they are going back.
