Sushi Sonic Freeze-Dried Real Wasabi, 1.5 oz.

I haven't actually tried it yet. I have used the Sushi sonic 51% real wasabi. I didn't know that there was a Sushi Sonic 100% wasabi because I'd been. Buying ijt from Vita Cost and they did not have the 100% . However, I am told that the 100% is milder tasting- which I greatly welcome because the purpose of using wasabi is so that it will kill the salmonella bacceria in your gut so those who eat raw fish ( I don't, all raw meat and fish has parasites and those lay eggs and those gather material as do grains of sand in a sea shell- and those can then become a tumor -so not a good idea) . Living in Los Angeles you just never know when the power may go down causing the temp to rise in your frig/freezer and your poultry may have salmonella and you might not be aware of it. So I view wasabi as an absolutely necessary item to keep on hand for these occasions.

I was very happy with this powder. I found it very easy to reconstitute into a paste. It is also very easy to add to my sushi bakes. Overall very pleased with a shelf stable way to have wasabi at any time.

If you just taste the powder, you won't get the kick. I have mixed it with a few things and love it. Not the exact Wasabi I want but when mixed with Avocado or Humus, exceptional!!

Believe it to be real wasabi. Very complex flavor just before the heat explodes.
