One of the best products
Just finished setting up four sb 2000 pro's in my large open floor plan. The room is about 36X 36 feet with openings to two hallways into the rest of the house. The subs are stacked in the front due to room constraints. They sound great and have enough punch to rattle the china in the kitchen. They really add dimension to movies and music._x000D_ The service and customer care that SVS take with purchasers is second to none, and is greatly appreciated. Five stars for every aspect of this experience!
I have a small home theater that can't handle a bulky subwoofer. This SB2000 pro is the perfect size for the space. The sound quality is excellent for music and has enough oomph for viewing movies. The app is very useful for dialing in the sound profiles for movies vs music.
Everyone knows that SVS offers a fantastic line of subwoofers, and the SB-2000 Pro is certainly amazing. I'm very happy with it. But the real shining star is the customer service team. I called a few times and spoke to a different person each time. I was extremely impressed with the level of knowledge they all possessed. Each rep provided exemplary service. If you're on the fence about purchasing a product from this or another company, let the outstanding customer service (not to mention the no-risk 45-day trial) be the deciding factor. You will not be sorry.
I have a small music production studio in my home with classic Yamaha studio monitors that emphasize midrange. SB 2000 Pro fills in sound stage nicely. Built in DSP made it easy to manage.
I purchased a full Klipsch 5.2 setup (all RP II series) from a local dealer EXCEPT he mentioned SVS subs tend to mesh much better than Klipschs own subs. Considering he's been in business 40 years I took him at his word. My home is 2 story and the living room isn't exactly acoustic friendly. L shaped with stairs behind me. I originally started with one, and the sound was certainly very good, blended beautifully, but being a musician I could just hear the room ached for a second sub so I bought another, and I'm glad I did. _x000D_ After much fiddling, I came to what I found to also be SVS's recommendation. Bass is in fact a sexy drug but too much is just that. Failing to commit to spending time dialing them in is assuredly leaving sound on the table. Sure they sound very nice as "plug and play" but they can/do sound even better. I'm too picky for my own good and I fully admit it. After a couple months I find myself still looking for the "happy medium" between being heard and being felt. Bass can so easily be fatiguing. While one movie may sound perfect, another is too much. This kind of stuff can leave someone who doesn't understand tuning with a negative outlook on a product. (pertains to everything on the market) _x000D_ In a world where we're forced to now blindly buy, and places anyone can post an opinion no matter how wrong it may be ...... would I recommend them? Absolutely no reason not to. Bias devoid, I suggest you look at how the SVS app allows fine tuning and compare to what Klipsch offers and what your AVR does or doesn't offer as a substitute. Happy bumping.
Purchased the SB 2000 Pro and the SVS Soundpath speaker level subwoofer adapter. Teed off the speaker leads of the Samsig Subwoofer and plugged a single Soundpath RCA cable into the new SVS subwoofer at the LFE input. Sounds perfect right out of the box, but will dial it in further. Could not be happier with the quality and sound of the new SVS sub! Finally have a system where music sounds just as good as movies. The added bass was the missing ingredient.
This was my first speaker purchase from SVS and first time owning one of their products. I am very pleased with the overall performance of this subwoofer. It sounds amazing and I would definitely buy again. Fast shipping and great customer care.
Great. Using it for all the sub lows 40hz & below in a 20 x 30 theater room.Sounds awesome.
Sounds great, love the app.
