I ike everything about this mountable motion detector light. The flashing red and blue lights add attention to where you need it when the bright light comes on. I mounted mine to a metal plant stand for mobility on the ground. Easy to use remote for serrings.

I,have one now swann security light and I'm waiting on another.. I'm very proud of this product, for my family. it's battery operated but don't let that bother you. the security light stands out to anyone can see it . And it came w/security stickers to post on my gate and window.

I'd not recommend this device to detect motion when used inside a window. I found it was unable to detect motion through a double-pane window. I tested it on the outside and it worked well, though. I live in an apartment and the owner charges too much for outside installation. I am an old guy on a tight budget! I was disappointed it worked only installed on the outside, but I didn't want to spend more or have the hassle of changing batteries. However, I like the solid construction, versatile adjustment features and the fairly bright white LED spotlight. Flashing red and blue lights worked just fine in my outside testing. Sensitivity was more than adequate and can be adjusted. Manual override is included. It has an IR remote - not a radio remote. There's no doubt it works well installed outside. So, I kept it anyway, using it for an emergency light during power failures to light up my car by placing the unit on my bedroom window's ledge. You can turn it on, and it'll shut off after 10 minutes or stay on indefinitely. It easily projects adequate illumination as far as 20 feet away. It's a bit bulky and heavy with four "D" cells. Very securely packaged and shipped. Good customer service.
