Swann MaxRanger4K Solar 4 Camera Security System with Longest Range Wireless

I did a lot of research on the right system for my home. After looking around online and various forums I was interested in the MaxRanger cameras because it has the latest Wi-Fi Technology that's better at long distances and penetrating through thick walls. have had running for 5 days now, was easy to set up because as soon as you turn on the cameras, they instantly pair to the hub, I connected the hub to my router and scanned QR code, once I connected, I could instantly see on my phone through the APP. I'm getting crystal clear 4K images day and night, excellent night vision, the spotlights are very good, I can easily see 20m or more. Great cameras I highly recommend.

The swann cameras we have purchased have just been amazing. From the initial set up, we had an alert that wow'd us. Medium sized, brown fluffy dog! A perfect description of our pup sent immediately to our phones. Amazing product.

Was a bit skeptical making the purchase given they're solar but the kit was fast to prove its worth. We have a 1950's double brick home and with all 4 cameras outside and 1 about 30 meters away, the coverage is great on all 4. Initially i was accessing the cameras alot which was draining power pretty quickly, but once i left them to do their job and tweaked the settings a little they recharged and have been at 100% at the end of everyday, using about 1% if that of battery charge overnight which recharges pretty quick during the day with the recharge rate on the cameras about 1% an hour with direct sunlight. As its summer, the system is going great, how the cameras handle the -10 winters we get remains to be seen, hoping the extreme cold doesn't damage the camera batteries. Overall a great system and worth every penny :)

I've only had this system a few days but wow, I am seriously impressed so far. I've put one camera on the back fence and another near the front gate and they both live stream within seconds to the app. The picture looks incredible and I had it installed in minutes. The hardest thing was simply screwing in the camera mounts to the fence.

I have a big two story house and am highly impressed with this system. I have one of my cameras strategically placed on a tree in my driveway and the others are also strategically placed where an intruder would least expect it. Two of the cameras would have to be approximately 50 and 70 metres away from the hub but you wouldn't even know it because the video clarity is fantastic and I am yet to have one Wi-Fi drop off due to poor signal strength. I would highly recommend this system to family and friends. my backyard and the t approximately 40 metres away from the hub to capture

Installed this system today and the hardest part was drilling a few holes in the walk, everything synced with zero effort Cameras were online immediately, making installation a breeze, only thing missing is an additional add on camera. Hey Swann, any updates on timing for additional individual cameras in Australia?

Bought this product about 5 months ago, great quality, works in an off grid environment can use a USB-C to maintain power constant power to the hub in a 12v system. Definitely buy the Swann solar panel to keep the camera charged, otherwise you'll be constantly removing the camera to charge. Today one major issue, while charging a camera, it nearly caught on fire

Two weeks in, not bad picture....but my dog triggers it and the AI tells me there is a person moving around, something my riolink 4g cameras dont do. Its a bit of a pain, I didnt realise it needed to be hooked up to ethernet and tv not fun when the modem for house is in the walk in robe. I probably should have used a mesh system for the range and not spent this much on non panable cameras

We bought the 3 sets of MaxRanger 4K with 4 solar powered cameras. This is the our 5th purchase of Swann CCTV, all previous comets are mains powered. This is our first purchase of your solar cameras. Its ease of set up and video clarity is simply awesome. BUT, and it's a big let down… the batteries on the solar powered cameras is untenable. We bought 3 sets of the CCTV 2 weeks ago and installed it 6 days ago on 29Sep 2024. Before we installed the system, we fully charged all 12 cameras to 100% and then installed the fully charged cameras the next day. Today is day 6 after installation. Of the 12 batteries, only two are holding its charge at 100%! In fact, 2 cameras side by side, pointing in different directions, facing north, on an open air wooden pole registered 100% and 43% respectively! We live in Queensland, south of the tropic of Capricorn. All my cameras are unhindered and 10 of the 12 cameras are in full sun! Here is the current battery charge on all 12 cameras: System 1: 82% (some shade in pm) 100%, 43%, 88% (some shade in am) System 2 83% 53% 96% 31% System 3 46% 74% 74% 100% We've had really hot and sunny days for the 4 days out of 6 after my installation. It is not winter. It's a very hot spring here. How do we replace the non performing cameras? Your assistance would be much appreciated.

Setting-up is easy and video is good. The only problem I have with this model is streaming to my Google max hub. It show a black screen when you try to stream. It also says “Camera unavailable” if I try viewing in the Google Home app. Reolink has better success streaming to my Google Home.
