Swann Wi-Fi Floodlight Security Camera - Bronze

Looked around for a simple camera for the front of the house. This was good as it was a floodlight . So didn't look like a camera. Very easy to install. Setup was easy. Just make sure there is strong wifi signal . App was easy setup. Would recommend this.

Installed couple of days ago. Very simple only after realising my two mobile phones would not pair. Spent 3 days trying to pair. Must have spent nearly an hour with very helpfull chat line who eventually sugested I asked a friend with a more up to date phone. In the end managed to pair using an Amazon fire 10 tablet. Once paired was even able to view on the two phones which would not pair. In conclusion if you try to pair with phone with updates over two years old it will not pair. Now up and running GREAT. However only one of the two floodlights was working. This I found was a broken contact wire on LED. After a spoit of solder now fine Graham.

I am planning to install few SWIFI-FLOWCAM2 around the house. But, it is unfortunate that I couldn't get a definitive answer on the local storage (SD options and if not what's the capacity of the local storage - if any). There are lots of video and none informs how to reset the device and anything about local storage.

Installed and was happy with results for both camera and motion detection during the day, at night the motion detection falsely triggers the floodlights which remain on for the preset time, go off for around 30 seconds and trigger again this goes on until the lights are disabled. Good performance during the day, not good at night.

Bought this expecting I would get notifications/alerts when someone was on my property. Instead, they are not real time notifications when I do actually receive them, so if anyone unwanted is on my property, by the time I find out, they are gone... Also, playback isn't always great either, but with it not working reliably the first time. On the other hand, the camera and pairing was easy to set up.

I remember writing a review about this product its good to see swann has finally updated their website to actually show the product they are selling and not the US version. Its funny they also removed the snarky reply they left to my comment though. The camera and build quality are very low I guess if you get it on special then it might be worth it.

I bought two of these and have tried all the different settings to get the sensors working properly. The sensor is great for the camera, the issue is the lights constantly go on. As soon as the light turns off it triggers and goes on again. I have tried the sensor settings, I have even tried pointing the sensor at the ground to eliminate any triggers. Both lights do this, if it was one I'd say it was faulty but both of them I'm thinking engineering fault.

I have the exact same issue as the other user review. I also bought two of these and have tried all the different settings and the lights constantly go off and on as if the camera detect motion. As soon as the light turns off it triggers and goes on again. I have even completely cover the camera and sensor so I don't think it is even a sensor issue. Both lights is exactly the same so I am going to contact Swann support to understand what is going on.

I was replacing a broken Swann Floodlight. Swann delivered a used Floodlight. The wires were used. Most likely the floodlight was connected by hardwire to previous house. Swann customer support supervisor did not return my phone call. Swann lost me as a customer. I purchased the floodlight from Walmart. Swann did not even return the email from Walmart.
