Swann Xtreem Wireless Security Camera

I've been using an older battery camera from Swann for a couple of years and it does what it needs to but I'm finding I have to charge it more often than I'd like. I've just bought this new 4K model to cover another area of the house and so far I love it. The camera feels really solid & well built and its got a much bigger battery inside than my old coreccamera. So far the battery has only dropped a few percent since I put it up. This new model seems to detect motion better as well, but early days so I'm still finetuning the settings. Free storage, 4K, no wires. What's not to love.

I've had one of these cameras for 6 months and I am so happy with it. That I've recently purchased another one the same an they are working beautifully together. Very easy to set-up the app on your phone and get the camera in use.

I brought my system about 5 years ago and still to this day, never lets me down. Fantastic picture, the quality of face recognition is so clear I give swan two thumbs up.

Good product but needs to be an option to allow to record longer, only records for 20 secs then does not trigger record again soon after, only records one time so miss any detail. Please do update to allow options to set recording time.

Overall the camera has some great features. Being able to set parameters on alarms, noise, floodlight etc are all great. However it HAS to be 'paired' with local WiFi - even if you've connected it direct to your routed via ethernet cable. So if you have a small power cut you then loose all connection to that camera until you can go and do the 'pairing' routine again. This is a BIG failing of the product.

I bought a 3 pack and they have not lived up to what I need them.for they continue to go off-line and solar panel is not suddicient to keep charged so intruders can call in when raining etc

I have had the Xtreme 1080p with solar panel hooked up for 18 months. For the last 4 months it has missed many recording. The battery failed. I believe because it constantly charges without deploying the battery it now only lasts for a couple minutes. This is a major flaw.

I bought a two pack of these cameras and it was a waste of money. Cameras will happily be set off by a moving tree but when someone walks up to my front door it won't start recording straight away and would miss if anyone actually did anything at my front door! half the time it doesn't even detect the motion no matter what the settings are. Plus it only records 6-10 seconds and then shuts down for 60 seconds. If anyone does anything outside my house it will miss it. In addition to this, when I go into the viewing section of the app to see the live camera feed sometimes it can take 5 minutes to load up despite the cameras being only 5m away from wifi access point!

If I could rate this 0 stars I would, garage motion detection detects things that are not there ! When it does start recording it's too late the person or object has already left and once again films nothing ! You can have someone walking down your driveway surprise it won't even pick that up. Don't waste your money !

I have purchased 3 of the Xtreem WIFI cameras and have found that the motion detection to be a very poor quality. I have adjusted all settings, adjusted camera angles, cameras will not pick up motion even when walking directly in front of the cameras. Will not even pick up a vehicle moving in the driveway.
