Lecithin granules

Vera A July 9, 2024

Seems to be same quality as the previous name brand lecithin that I was using. Mixes with liquid the same, really see no difference. I trust Swanson products to be great quality.

Love the granules

buddy c September 23, 2024

Love this method of taking my lecithin! I used to use liquid, then capsules, but now with the granules they go into my smoothie and it is super easy . . . .

A very good Non-Gmo lecithin

Anonymous June 21, 2020

A very good Non-Gmo lecithin. I mix it in shakes, smoothies, yogurt, cottage cheese, oat meal etc. I have been using the Swanson lecithin for years and thru-out this period there have been many batches in which the granules have more or less intense color and/or smaller or larger size which attributes do not change the quality or use of this product. I actually like the flavor of this lecithin and highly recommend it. The only Con that I have is that is not organic. The price is one of the most reasonable in the market place.

Great Value for Freshes product

dragonreg August 17, 2009

I've used Lecithin for years and experienced varying qualities. Swanson's has been consistently fresh. So much so, I've purchased the 3lb tub my last 4 orders. Of course, as the first reviewer mentioned, I refrigerate it. Lecithin aids in the assimilation of fats in my diet, whether they be supplement or food. I count lecithin as essential in my diet and Swanson's quality and value make it's use easier.I'm torn between 4/Good & 5/Excellent in the CONVENIENCE category. Even though we save with the larger container, that's one big bottle. Fortunately I have room for it in my frig and go though it quickly. Also, I use an intermediate quart jar for added ease.

Great source of an essential nutrient

Will1012 November 24, 2009

The price is unbeatable; high quality product too, as usual.I highly, highly recommend lecithin granules. Overall, I personally feel that this is simply the most economical and most effective way to make sure you're getting your choline. Tastes great with cottage cheese/yogurt too!*Last note: Also check out GABA -- Swanson's got a great price on it. I haven't tried it yet myself, but as a heads-up from a fellow consumer, it might be something to consider buying together with the lecithin granules or separately from them, depending on your needs. Always be as educated about this stuff as you can. Good luck!

A Healthy Fat

Geanie March 29, 2012

I use Lecithin granules in place of fat. For example, I mix 2 tblspns lecithin with 3 tblspns water and a little salt. Mix and use in place of butter on bread. It's delicious, healthy, and low calorie. I throw some in any dish that needs a fat texture with the same benefits. I wouldn't be without it. I use Swanson's for economy, but I prefer NOW's granules. They are a brighter yellow and my "butter" mixture thickens more with NOW'S.

Not happy

lgbrock1 December 28, 2014

My last two 3 pound containers of Lecithin Granules have been full of clumps and these were on orders that were several months apart.I have been ordering this product from you for several years and have not had this problem until recently.Maybe you should check your source.I am looking for another supplier.

Returned it for a refund

Alkaline January 21, 2014

Was a darker color than normal, and had a slightly "off" smell. Also didn't taste quite right. Tasted "burnt" in a way. (I purchased it mid-December 2013, by the way.) I returned it for a refund and ordered some Now Brand (which looked, smelled, and tasted good).
