Swanson Berberine Advanced Enhanced Absorption - Featuring Berbevis 550 mg 30 Veg Caps

I love all the products that I purchase from Swanson, but have seen great results with the Advanced Berberine. My personal results have shown up as a huge benefit on my bloodwork labs as well. This stuff does work.

This enhanced absorption version of berberine is definitely a step up from the standard berberine offerings. The effects are more potent and they last much longer as well. I definitely recommend trying this out if you've had luck with regular berberine.

Berberine slows down the breakdown in the liver, so it is important to tell your Dr if you take this as a supplement. In studies on mice, intake of Berberine helps fatty liver disease, pancreatitis, obesity and thrombus formation, also slows down insulin spikes, but there have been no studies showing same results in humans. If you take "water pills" for high BP, you may not notice the effect as before as the process is slowed down. Therefore, for people with continued high BP, definitely ask the Dr. It appears to prevent a lot of diseases - at least in mice - and has no other notable side effects if you don't use it with regular medications.

Asking for a review and the product is still on backorder. When I placed the order it said one to two weeks. Yesterday customer service said three to four weeks.
