Swanson Black Cohosh (Standardized) 20 mg 120 Capsules

Black cohesh works for me, the hit flashes did not completely go away, but it's of shorter duration and less frequent. I have tried zinc which my good frd swears on, but did not help me one bit.

Wife seems to think it works to help reduce hot flashes.

I was having mood swings and hot flashes and didnt know what to do! I am a very youthful 57. A few months ago, my body suddenly and abruplty went through some overdue midlife changes... EEEEEEEEK! I thought I was losing my mind!! My best-friend-hubby was definitely losing his, because almost every time I opened my mouth, something witchy would come out... which isn't like me!I prefer to go the natural route, so I did some research and decided to try Black Cohosh. It makes a definite difference. However, for me, Black Cohosh alone isn't enough, so I also take Wild Yam in capsule form, and Evening Primrose Oil. (I tried a Soy Supplement, but that seemed to make my hot flashes and moodiness worse. I also tried Swanson's Menopause Essentials, and that didn't suit me, either.)Today, 6 months after my menopause began, I feel normal again... and now, my best-friend-hubby is telling all his friends about how well these herbs work!

I take this along with Hormone Essentials. It took two months to see a result, which I am ok with, this is normal. My hot flashes have certainly decreased, thankfully!

This has taken my hot flashes and night sweats away. Its works soo much better than the other alternatives I have tried. And didnt have to wait for results.

My wife uses it for menopause system and has tried other brands. But always goes back to Swanson Black Cohost. Will not use any other brands.

I've been using the Black Cohosh for maybe a year and it really does help with my menopausal symptoms. I can tell when I have skipped a dose. Our bodies are all different and my symptoms without the supplements are pretty mild but are still uncomfortable. When I take two capsules twice a day I seldom have ANY symptoms. I have also tried the "Hormone Essentials" and they did nothing for me. But again, each of our bodies will respond differently.
