Swanson Calcium Citrate Plus Magnesium 150 Capsules

This is my third purchase of Calcium Citrate. I have low bone density and this is a must have supplement. calcium citrate is supposed to be easier to digest and absorb than oyster shell based calcium. The price is so much better and this supplement even includes magnesium.

My doctor recommended this supplement. I started taking it 3yrs ago. Every fall I've taken before starting it resulted in a broken bone. Since starting it I've fallen but no broken bones. I highly recommend this product.

I'm glad I switched to this product. I found out that I when i don't take any calicum pills my joints literally feel achy after a few days. So, I found out with this my joints/bones do feel stronger and if I would happen to skip a day my joints still feel fine.

I take 3 of these about twice a day. Once with my multu-vitamin and once at the end of the night with some protein before bed.\n\nI love this supplement. I can tell they make a difference. When I've forgotten to take them, I crave calcium based products like milk and vanilla ice cream.

I read one of the reviews that stated calcium and magnesium should not be taken together. After searching for more info, it is actually supposed to be taken together. I have been taking these for a few years now and would not ever be without them. These along with vitamin D3, is probably all that I need.

The Calcium Citrate and Magnesium supplement Is a good product. The only complaint I have is that it will upset my stomach if I don't take it with food, however this is the case with many supplements so it really isn't that big a deal. I like the fact that this product is a quality blend of calcium and magnesium for a low price.

I have used one bottle of the combined Calcium Citrate plus Magnesium, knowing that I need both at my age. But I researched whether these two supplements should be taken together and found:Calcium should be taken during the day. Magnesium is best taken at bedtime for better utilization and better sleep. The reason for this is that calcium is antagonistic towards magnesium, as they act biochemically to cancel each other out.Should take up to 400 mg of Magnesium each day. I will be ordering mine separately in the future.
