The Very Best Value & Taste in Cod Liver Oil TOPS !!

Susan G March 22, 2025

I have been taking fish oil supplements for many years, and because I'm a fan of consuming fish in my diet, I don't mind the fishy taste/aftertaste. I also prefer to take my fish oil in the form of cod liver oil liquid, as opposed to fish oil capsules, as the liquid form seems to offer much more of the healthy EPA/DHA benefits per serving, as opposed to the the fish oil caps. I wasn't sure if I would like the mint flavor added to the Swanson brand of cod liver oil, but it quickly grew on me, and now I look forward to stocking up on some more, of my new favorite, Swanson mint cod liver oil liquid. Their regular price is superior to most other brands, and their sale/discounted rate can't be beat !

Wonderful Stuff

I believe it was Barry Sears (The Zone Diet) who said that mother's biggest mistake was to stop giving cod liver oil to junior. Well mothers of the world don't have to worry any more. This product tastes great.\nMy wife and I take it every morning with no ill effects or after effects. It is reassuring to know we are getting all the great nutrients we used to get as kids. It is truly wonderful stuff.

Very Good!

MaryMom August 4, 2009

I feel good about taking this Cod Liver Oil because it is emulsified, which means it is in a form more usable to the body. Absorption is so important. The mint flavor makes it a very pleasant way to be ensuring that we get our Vitamin A and good oils.

Emulsified Oils Are Better For You!

Thomas G August 10, 2020

I am a big fan of emulsified oils! They're easy to digest. I am surprised that companies do not carry emulsified fish oils--there are many people out there who have trouble digesting oils. Anyway, I am glad that I found your product--originally on Amazon. I recommend this product to all my clients when they tell me they take fish oils.

Best Tasting Fish Oil

whollygod July 21, 2009

I have tried other cod oils that were guaranteed to be the best tasting but they were not. This is by far the best I've tried. I could not detect a hint of that "fishy" taste at all. This would be easy to introduce to discriminating buyers who may object to the typical brands fish oil taste. It's fresh and minty and actually taste good.

I was used to an oil, rather than an emulsified product. However, it was actually pleasant, especially with the nice minty taste. I will definitely purchase this again.

Won't order again.

Margaret O October 6, 2020

Ordered because of eye-popping price increase in Nature's Answer Liquid Norwegian Cod Liver Oil. However, this product isn't pure cod liver oil. It also has preservatives. 1TB of this has as much cod-liver oil as 1 tsp. of the Norwegian. I won't order it again.

You better LOVE mint

skysky1 March 15, 2012

Receipe:\n4 8 oz tubes mint flavored tooth paste\n1 cup fish oil\nExtra mint for flavor\nExtra mint flavored tooth paste for thickening\nBlend all ingredients thoroughly\nNow you have Swanson emulsified cod liver oil.\nHonestly, this potion is so thick and minty that I gagged both times I tried to swallow it. Not made for human consumption imho, but there are some that like it. Go figure.\nP.S. I;ve got a free, hardly used bottle for free for ya.
