Have been taking flaxseed capsules for years. When I was in my late fifties and worked in a nursing home I developed some arthritis in my hands and fingers that caused some joint knots, cramping and swelling. Was concerned because my job required lots of patient heavy lifting, ect. A friend suggested trying flaxseed oil. Within 24 hours the swelling above my poinying finger and thumb went completely flat. I was amazed. In a very short period of time the pain and cramping went completely away. Also, I stopped having cramping in my legs and feet. I have recommeded it to friends and family and they all have been helped taking it. I began taking 2 thousand units dosage a day (1,000 units each capsules) and now take 3,000 units a day. Take it with a meal that has some fat in it to help absorb it. The longer I took it, the longer I could go without it if I ran out but I'm 73 now and won't ever stop taking it. Flax oil also helps your skin, hair and colon.
This brand of flaxseed oil is easy to swallow, and doesn't have any issues. Great quality.
👍
I have used and recommended Flaxseed Oil for over 50 years. I have no issue with taking about a big Tblsp size swig out of the bottle, which I keep in the door of my refrigerator, every morning. If I had any health / physical problems, I would take a full ounce, which is 2 Tblsps, - - - one morning and one night.I do not like using the High Lignan liquid Flaxseed Oil, because I have found that the Lignans settle out into a thick, tar-like layer in the bottom of the bottle, and they won't come out. However, the Lignans have important nutritional value. What to do, what to do?? Personally, I just pass on the Lignans myself and get the tremendous good out of the ALA, Alpha Linolenic Acid, Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acid, that the Flaxseed Oil provides.I was at the Ophthamologist's office a few weeks ago, and she was very positively impressed by the excellent condition of my eyes (since I'm an old guy). This led to us talking about holistic health, wellness, and natural nutrition. And that led us to talking about Flaxseed Oil. We covered its tremendous values, dosages, and forms.I told her to take a Tblsp every morning. She said she couldn't. She said she was afraid she would throw it up. I told her she was a big wuss, and to get with the program. I asked her if she wanted to take 15 big capsules or learn to take 1 Tblsp of Oil. She was still leaning toward the capsules. So I told her to go on Swanson's website and order this finest Flaxseed Oil capsule with the Lignans. I am very in favor of the Lignans in the Flaxseed Oil capsules. I told her to take 3 or 4 each morning and night. The 1 or 2 regular capsules she was using just weren't cutting it. She agreed. Actually, she promised she would do this. . . . Then she admonished me to be sure to wear polarized sunglasses everyday when I go outside. I promised her that I would.
Great
As far as I know this product is great.. I give it to my dog..Next time I will buy the liquid, instead of pills..My dog loves the taste of this oil...
It's very good. No aftertaste. Easy on the stomach. Very effective product. It promotes digestion and gut health and hormonal balance.
Yes I recommend it as a good quality product 💯 percent quality
was told by a healthfood store manager thathe would take flaxseed oil over fish oil if havingto choose. have taken it for years now and amhappy with it.
I had been taking a flax oil/fish oil combo which I buy through Swanson -- and decided to try Krill oil and flax oil separately. Unfortunately, I believe the LIGNANS in this flax oil are the cause of new abdominal distress. So -- I am returning to the flax/fish combo for now -- and may try a regular flaxseed oil capsule in the future.
