We believe that due to the insecticides used by most coffee growers, and the risk of these chemicals finding their way into the beans, it is prudent to use organic sources for our coffee, especially if the extra cost is not .prohibitive.\n\nAs a confirmed Organic advocate, its hard to find a good decaf blend in most stores at a reasonable cost. This is our second order for the Swanson organic decaf, and it is absolutely delicious, smooth, and aromatic, as well as reasonably priced, especially when it goes on sale.

The Swanson Organic Decaf is among the finest I have tasted. Most decafs are flat, but this one is rich and flavorful so that I don't feel like I am missing the robustness of a full caffeine cup. Given that it is organic makes it even better! From what I have read, coffee can be heavily contaminated with pesticides so when possible I prefer organic coffee.

I have been buying this coffee for several years now. I couldn't be more pleased. The flavor is smooth and not acidic. the grind works well with my french press pot. The price is very fair especially considering that you get a full pound of coffee as opposed to the typical 12oz. bags other brands offer. Thank you Swanson for this great product. I highly recommend it to all coffee drinkers.

We take this coffee with us when we head out for a month in our travel trailer. Never disappoints and never tastes over-roasted or bitter. We like it best for iced coffee.

Normally when I open a container of coffee for the first time there is a coffee aroma.Not with this brew.I smelled staleness.The taste isn't bitter, I just don't taste coffee.The strangest thing is the drying out of my mouth, that lingers for at least an hour after drinking any of this "coffee". My favorite coffees are usually dark roast.Over roasted, over dried, old? I'm not sure, I'm just very disappointed.

Given the cost of this coffee, I should have returned it, but I did not. Going forward I will not make that mistake again. This coffee had absolutely no smell or taste. Maybe I got an old or bad batch, I don't know, but it was the worst coffee I have ever bought. It also was ground to such a fine powder it reminded of the body powders that we used to apply with a powder puff (except, of course, those were white).
