Swanson Same 200 mg 60 Tablets

SAMe and two other supplements helped me get a solid restful night sleep in about 2-3 months.

I have been using this product for years. Still works.

I only buy the 200 mg when you are out of the 400 mg that I have used for more than 10 years. I take 2 with the same results.

I have been using Swanson Ultra SAMe for years and it is amazing! Besides being beneficial for joint health my mood has been positively impacted.\nI take 400mg a day and I'm very rarely in a bad mood. It's a natural enzyme in our body which depletes as we age and has been throughly researched...especially in England. It's the first thing I take in the morning!

I had to take this for about 30 days before I saw a difference. I started with 400 a day for about 3 months but find that 200 a day oes the trick. I'm glad they package these in foil packs because I've read it's not a very stable product otherwise. I've also read that it's very important to take this with B vitamins which I do.

II did a lot of reading on this product and decided to get the 200 mg rather than the 400 mg to have less chance of the 400 mg being too high. I did go ahead and take 2 200 mg tablets right away, however, and with no adverse effects. Also, the 200 mg physical size is "large" enough for me, and easier to take. I believe that this item is beneficial to me.

Some days I take a 200mg., some days feel like a 400mg. day. Either way, an hour after taking SAMe, I am more alert, with better concentration and mental clarity. The sense of well being I get from SAMe lasts all day. I take SAMe every single day.\nThere is no better price anywhere for this great product.

Do your on-line homework before purchasing SAM-e. It's quite powerful for some people, and it can have a strong effect. Many on-line reviewers of various brands have had negative effects.\n\nIt worked fine at first, but now even a 200 mg. tablet will cause anxiety, and have a negative effect. This is not Swanson's fault, however. It would be nice to find SAM-e in much lower dosages, as it is difficult and ill-advised to cut the enteric-coated tablets. The price on this product at Swanson's is VERY good.

I, too, switched to the Swanson brand of SAM-e and am not happy with it!\n\n1/ The pills are gigantic and stick in your throat\n\n2/ They contain ingredients I don't want to ingest\n\n3/ They smell and taste AWFUL, long after taking.\n\n4/ They don't dissolve like the other brand I purchased before - after taking this Swanson brand, my husband suddenly had stomach issues and had to burp - and out came residue from the pill!\n\nWe have always taken SAM-e on an empty stomach, so I know it was this pill - we've not had any trouble with the other brand.\n\nIt's very seldom I've been disappointed with Swanson brand products, but I had to share this.

Come on Swanson! These were Ok and they worked. But when you added methacrylic acid copolymer and propylene glycol to the inactive ingredients, that let them out for me! Go back to the inactive ingredients you use to use (and no mannitol either!), and I will go back to the Swanson brand. SAMe is a vital supplement for me due to a genetic condition.
