Easy to adjust and feels sturdy. Reasonably accurate. Overall good value if extreme precision isnt needed

This Swanson Tool Co 12 inch Combination Square has perfectly met my needs for both woodworking and aligning the blades on my power tools. The solid steel sliding ruler is perfectly rigid to give accurate measurements without flexing. The level is perfectly aligned, as compared to my full-sized level tool. I also love the built-in scribe, which is very handy when a pencil is not available. With the solid build quality and characteristics of much more expensive combination squares, I am pleased to have found Swanson tool company.

Swanson is the best name in the square business and this combination square doesn't disappoint. It has both the scribe and the bubble level, not something available on all other combo squares. Also the blade and the handle are both made heavy duty. Feel very solid in my hand. I ran all the edges against my most trustworthy straight edge and all the edges and surfaces are dead straight. It also slides very smoothly. I am so happy to have it.

This square has been working very well for me. It's made of good quality material and is pretty standard stuff. Slightly oiled to prevent rust which is nice. And functions just like it should right away. The bubble level is true and seems secure in it's hold. Very happy with it

This combination square is very heavy duty. It feels so solid when picking it up, but also feels light weight. Of course being stainless steel I can see why. It is great for mitering, drawing, scribing lines, and just squaring up for that task. It has a built in 45 degree and 90 degree measurement which is a big plus. The leveling tube vial is set in place to be impact resistant. It measure is inches and metric too. It is a tool for not just carpenters, but for the everyday handyman or handy woman as it can be so helpful in many simple carpentry uses..

This is a great combination square by Swanson. Makes making 90 and 45 degree angles a breeze. The built in level can also be used to help ensure your lines are straight, and true, plus it can be used to help hang pictures, coat racks, etc. I use a combination square almost everytime I need to make a straight mark on wood. This is a must for any home improvement and wood working project.

Super versatile combination square, I've been looking for a way to be able to trace perfectly straight lines and cuts, with this tool you can align the base to your table and you will always have a perfect line, also the fact that you can work with inches and milliters is great, changing the unit is super easy, just unscrew the holder and flip Also I know I will be using this square for future projects by calibrating my table saw and ensuring both 90° angles and 45° angles are perfectly set Over all I love this tool it has many uses
