Very well-made, thoughtfully laid out, and easy to read. Love that it has lines on both sides, and that the markings are carried across the pieces so you can continue a line without moving the square. Also includes a handy reference booklet, which is particularly useful since speed squares have more uses than you can be expected to know. Adjustable square is super useful too, and very nicely machined. Perfect for my table saw, among other things. A very well made set.

This is a nice square. I got this so I could make marks to cut lumber with a circular saw and keep the cuts straight. This square does a lot more than that and the book explains how to do it. I especially like the notches for scribing to rip lumber. I don't have a table saw or a really big straight edge (other than other lumber) so that really came in handy. The black filled text and anti glare finish were wonderful to work with.

These are very high quality tools. Comes with a book that teaches you so much about how to use the speed square and applications as well. The numbers and letters are easy to read on the tools. Comes with both a speed square and combination square. Highly recommend to have in your tool bag.

Nice square set. Look & feel solid & quality built. The combination square ruler slides well without play. The speed square weighs substantial but is lighter than I thought. The Swanson's Blue Book is a nice addition.
