I have been ordering this for some time along with the 1000mg. The 400 was recently changed to look exactly like the 1000mg. This is not good for me when I separate the days needs out of the bottle. I can't tell which is which. I am not into overdoing vit. D. I have taken to dyeing the 400 with food dye. Hope my skin doesn't turn blue.

These D3 400 iu capsules do the job. My doctor diagnosed me "Low D vitamin" and said I needed to take a supplement. After 3 months on these capsules, my blood work came back 'normal'!

My M.D. recommended 2000 iu of Vitamin D daily. Since I already take a multi-vitamin and 1000 units of Vitamin D I didn't want to go over the 2000 iu. With one glass of milk (kefir) the 400 iu gets me there exactly. Only wish is that it didn't have Vitamin A in it also and was just pure Vitamin D as the 1000 iu is.

I had always used another brand,NATURE MADE. I will have to wait until I have lab work. I am prescribed Vit.D3

I was buying a 500 day supply in choosing the two pack. When they arrived in July 2023, the Best By Date on the bottles was 8-24. In other words they will be out of date before I can utilize the 500 day supply. I had already opened one bottle, so could no longer return the two bottle pack. Dates matter on supplements and vitamins same as for food.
