Good product

I was hesitant to try this product because I've always just stuck to what I'm used to. However, living in a cold climate that doesn't get a lot of sunshine, I was told by a co-worker that maybe I should start taking D-3, as I likely wasn't getting enough in my diet. So I did. The first day that I took it, my stomach was very upset, & had some "digestion issues." I think it was because my body wasn't used to getting all that D-3 all at once. I probably should have started with the 400 I.U. once a day, then after a few weeks, taken it twice a day, then moved to the 1,000 I.U. once a day, then to the 2,000. Maybe then my body wouldn't have retaliated the way it did! I don't think it had anything to do with the product's quality - my body was just needing to adjust to what I was taking, that's all. But all is well now, & overall I'm very satisfied with the product. I'm not a big pill-taker, so I didn't want some huge pill that was hard to swallow, so I was apprehensive about that. But my worries were eased once I started to take it - very easy to swallow!

I am pleased with this product although, it would be difficult to measure its effectiveness. However, i want to say that I am especially pleased with Swanson. I like their excellent customer service that includes online chat assistance. I purchase a variety of products from them and I recommend them to everyone. Now. my son and his wife and some of my friends purchase from Swanson's too. It makes me happy to know they are getting quality products at reasonable prices and superb customer service to boot!

I inadvertently purchased capsules instead of soft gels. I don’t know if these will be as helpful. Next time I’ll read the description more carefully. But it is a Swanson’s product and they are a reputable presence in the health products industry, so I’m giving it a 4.

Definitely not the quality I expected from Swanson. I should have checked ingredients before purchasing but truthfully I never expected to find ingredients such as sugar (sucrose), modified food starch and medium-chain triglycerides in this product. These ingredients have no business being in a quality supplement. I dumped whole bottle down the toilet. Will never order again. Shame on Swanson!
