Swax Training Softball – Single Ball, Regulation Size & Weight, Soft Impact Practice Ball for Indoor & Outdoor Use, Ages 6+

This is an excellent ball for training without fear or risk of injury because of the way it's made, the weight and it's quality. I bought these for my teams and clinics I run for girls from the ages of pre-K through middle school. As a result our entire recreation program is now using them as all levels as well

My daughter is starting softball, and we were looking for something to practice with indoors (gym) due to weather. This is probably the best training softball you can get, and it outperforms other plastic/foam balls used for the same purpose. The fact the cushioned Swax ball is weighted like a gameplay softball is a game changer. The player doesn't have to sacrifice the experience of throwing and hitting a heavier object when trying to practice safely and conveniently. I recommend this for indoor activity, beginners intimidated by the harder gameplay softball, and those uninterested in chasing balls all over; these only go about 50% the distance of a standard softball. You can also tell when handling the Swax training softball that it's made to endure. The stiching is tight , and even after a few hours of use there are no visible threads or anything that would impact it's performance. The only hesitation you may have with the Swax is with the price. It would be nice to have a few extra of these to share at practice with the other kids, but at $10 to $15 each (what I've seen) we got 2 and will share :)

These Swax balls are amazing . These are exactly what I was looking for our little baseball player, who is just learning to play catch. Best part is they look and feel like a real ball, but I don't have to worry about him getting hurt.

quality seems good. Just be aware it's not perfectly round, it's stitched like a soccer ball. it's soft but heavy so it pushes is way into my daughters glove. she was having trouble keeping the lightweight foam balls we were using in her glove. it's useful for indoor practice

Exactly what we were looking for! Our young kiddos can play catch without any fear, since it is softer and still weighted. It is helping gain their confidence.
