Maybe it's User Error
I hate to see a very good product get trashed, when the issue is probably due to carelessness, or not paying attention to the details on proven method for getting these pests. This is the best trap I have every used for killing moles. I have used four different trap manufacturers and three designs. This trap is the easiest to set. It does not trip prematurely if the tunnel puffs back up slightly after you mash it down, and when it trips it has enough loaded pressure to fire deep into the tunnel. This trap works.

Get rid of Moles
This is the best mole trap on the market. I have tried two other traps with no success. With this trap, I have caught 5 moles in 3 weeks. I highly recommend it. It is truly a set an walk away and come back the next morning for your prize.

Cheap trap
Only worked for a couple weeks then broke. It did kill two moles.
